I agree. I hope we play nine games and stop this inequality. Won’t happen. But I can hope.

I know it’s just a camp but if you are truly putting A&M at 5 because of QB play. I honestly don’t think that will be an issue this year.

We have a QB with SEC experience.

I wouldn’t be shocked if A&M QB plays lights out but right now it’s an unknown. That, plus I think A&M offense will have to pull more weight this year after losing a lot on defense so for that reason, I’m not confident in putting them really high. In 2023, completely different story. A&M will be my favorite to win the West.

And also, it’s just my opinion. Means nothing. I’m probably wrong. But that’s cool, I wanted everybody’s input on their teams. Y’all know ore about your teams then anyone.

Here's a cool link that let's you predict every SEC game of the season and how the SEC standings would look based off your predictions. That way it takes everyone's schedule into account and not just the team you follow

You know that Kentucky has finished above Tennessee 4 out of the last 5 years, right?

I really like Tennessee's team they are building offensively. What makes them a question mark for me is their defense. There is a lot of upper classmen back, but they were so bad last season. UT is a fun team to watch and a scary team to play. It doesn't look as if they brought a lot of defense in last recruiting class, either. Huepel is going gangbusters offensively, but desperately needs to figure out that defense....fast. I feel like Tennessee will have a good year, but they are hard to figure.

Do you keep up with QB projections coming out of the Manning camp? Because if you did you would know that Max Johnson could actually be a very good QB and the expectation for him has grown quite a bit over the summer.

Bamas QB came out of the same camp looking awesome too.

Max Johnson is a decent game manager. He seems like a tough fit for Jimbo's system though.

A decent game manager is a major upgrade over what we had last season. If that's our floor in the QB room this year, we will be fine.

It’s true, doesn’t take much to be better than 5 yard rocket Calzada.

Guy had zero touch.

Arky will be worse than last year. No one for KJ to throw the ball to. I’d you want to beat Arky, just stop the run. Also, don’t even say anything about Haslewood. He’s not even a top 15-20 SEC receiver either.

Easier said than done for the top P5 rushing attack last year.

I do think Isaiah Sategna will be one of our top 4 WRs by midseason and we'll spread the ball out more than we did last year where we force fed it to Burks most of the time.

SEC East

1) Georgia (Daddies of tEast/Kings of CFB)
2) Kentucky
3) Florida
4) Tennessee
5) South Carolina
6) Missouri
7) Vandy

SEC West

1) Alabama
2) Texas A&M
3) Arkansas
4) LSU
5) Ole Miss
6) Miss State
7) Auburn

East 2-4 is a toss up, but I believe Kentucky is firmly in the catbird seat for #2 in the East. Florida and Tennessee will depend on how Napier performs (Duh), but also if the Vols can field a defense with a pulse. Their offense will be good, but if they want to improve they need a respectable defense.

A&M has recruited at far too high of a level to call for anything below #2 in the West, especially considering how down some of the power players are out West. Arky can give them a run, but A&M has the talent.

Pruitt was allergic to having an Offense… and left the cupboard bare, to the tune of mid sixties on scholarship after Huepel was able get some transfers. The team we saw last year was thrown together, piecemeal, while learning a completely different system after being gutted to the level of a G5 roster.

Yeah plus it’s not like the East outside of Georgia will be worth much of a shite. An 8-4 or 9-3 Vols team could definitely finish second

So Arkansas goes from winning 9 last year with an Oline needing major help, our Dbacks struggling, and one of our best D players out for most of the season...

And we will be next to last? UmmmKkkk !
