Is Greg Robinson a bust if he never progresses past interior OL?

Right now, Greg is projected to play left guard for the Rams as he develops.
If he progresses into a pro-bowl level left guard instead of making the jump to OT, is this still a successful pick?

He will always be better than Cyrus

Yes, because even overpaying Greg they still avoided picking Cyrus Kouandjio.

How about we let him play a few seasons.

Cart before the horse.
He will have to learn to pass block if he wants to stay in the league.

Is this where we say,"Of course Bama fan creates an Auburn thread. Obsessed"?

I was just wondering with the "Andre Smith is a bust" chatter by Auburn and LSU fans lately if the same standards apply to Robinson.

Pro Bowl = Not a bust.
He wouldn't be as big of a help to the Rams as he was drafted with the intention of playing LT, but if he becomes a Pro Bowler, he will not be considered a bust.

how many pro bowls has Smith made in his career?
Posted on 5/12/14 at 1:52 pm to BamaDoc14
Yes. All pro-bowl LGs are bust because they didn't ever move to LT.

For starters, Andre Smith isn't a bust.

Since 2008, there have been 47 tackles either elected to the Pro Bowl or chosen as injury replacements. And all but two of them were left tackles.

RT's don't make the Pro-Bowl, but Andre Smith is regularly regarded as one of the best RT's in football.
