This is great. Gus really taking the program to heights it's never reached....except the same bowl against the same team every year. It would have been more fitting had it been Clempsun.

I could go on and on and on, but you get the point. Someone who has never played can watch as much as they want - but they'll never "understand" the game.
All of this is exactly why it is a good reason to have her on the committee. Sometimes you need an outsider to point of obvious flaws that aren't apparent to people too close to the situation.
This is why businesses often bring in outside consultants or hire from within other market sectors.
If the entire committee were made up of people that had no football experience, you may have a valid point, but 1 out of 12 is good way to offer a different perspective and insight into the committee.

1. Women have already played football.
2. You don't have to have played a sport to be knowledgable about it. Some of the best owners and GM's in sports, never played anything beyond high school athletics.
