Returners:

UF (Murphy and Driskel)
Miss St (Prescott)
Arkansas (Allen)
Ole Miss (Wallace)
Auburn (Marshall)
Kentucky (who cares their names?)
Tenn (Worley)
USC (Thompson's back, but he's not really the stater)

All the top QBs (Manziel, Mett, Murray, McCarron, Shaw, Franklin, guy at Vandy) will be gone.

It'll be interesting to see who rises to the top. (I really like Kenny Hill's chances to be a great one.) Next year, even more than normal, there will be some guys go from relatively unknown to widely know, and fast.

Best quarterback Mississippi State has had under Darn Merlins, by far. He is a baller.

I am not a homer, but I really think Prescott may be the best out of that group. Or Allen for Arkansas.

QBs likely to bust on the scene next year:

Anthony Jennings, LSU
Kenny Hill, A&M (Maybe Kyle Allen, but Kenny Hill has looked VERY good in practice, and I don't think a true freshmen can beat him out. We'll see.)

Whose taking over the reigns at Bama, UGA, Mizzou?

Lots of potential. Like Marshall, he has develop a good bit as a passer if he wants to be really good.

Allen at Arkansas is solid, but he'll have to really improve to be one of the top QBs in the SEC. I haven't seen Prescott.

I'm glad they found another Chris Relf. I was worried when he left they couldn't replace his blend of tantalizing athleticism and soul-sucking mediocrity.

Pretty worried about Alabama's QB situation. Not that impressed with Blake Sims and the other guys have zero experience and not a ton of buzz that they have what it takes. Alabama has signed / will sign a couple of top guys coming out of HS - hopefully one can get it done.

If Kyle Allen's verbal commitment holds to NSD, he may give Kenny Hill a run for the starting job. Would've been nice for Showers to have stayed though to buy us a year to get Allen and Hill a little more up to speed.

Gonna end up being Hutson Mason at UGA

Going off of right now, I'd say Blake Sims; that said, I imagine the position will be fair game during the Spring. We have some serious talent coming in at the position.

Sims is a converted RB; if he is our QB, we may style more to a Spread Option attack, with a shorter passing game and a lot more designed runs. Especially with our backfield.

Hutson Mason is IMO just as good as Murray at passing the ball. Not so much of a scambler (even though Murray has been told not to scramble for most of his career)

The kid that filled in for Manziel for that first half looked good.
