Save stuff like that for the real AMA… I’ll change the subject line in a day or two and bump the thread. If you’re on the and ask I’ll answer stuff like that. Enjoy the night, approaching Louisiana as I type.

Who would have thought it would be with all this snow??!
Funny. lol? I go back to owning the business I started several years ago, that operates at a profit and has continued to operate while I was incarcerated. I slide ride back in to my life, custody of my son, etc.

It would probably surprise you but I own a successful clean energy business.

I don’t let the failures of my past define me. I let it motivate me to not hit rock bottom again, thanks for asking.
It was the professional advice of my attorney to let him handle it. He was reaching out to them, letting them know where I was and that if they wanted to talk or charge me I’d come in. They ignored him.

I pay him to let him do lawyer stuff. I was following his advice, which saved me those 18 months from being spent in jail I might add. Thanks, Mr attorney. Well done.
I had my attorney contacting the fbi for 18 months prior to my arrest. They ignored him and then came at me with a 50 person task force for the spectacle of the arrest on 1/20/24
I’ve said this before, this will be the last time. He was fighting sarge. Sarge was trying to flex cuff him. When he told me, while wrestling with the guy, to shoot him if he moves again, I from then on was looking through a “red dot” optic. It reduced my fov considerably and I was unaware the cuffs were put on. The guy lunged/fell onto sarge and I fired. I thought he had a knife. He obviously was cuffed but I didn’t know it.

I regret it to this day but in war shite happens
That’s pretty accurate unfortunately in regards to the ied incident
One and the same.

Live in the moment I thought the guy had a knife (the Iraqi) and was going in for the kill.

Hindsight proved I was wrong. I had to make a “right now” decision though based on not future knowledge but “right now”

I regret being wrong and it costing that young man his life.
The ied hit in between the truck I was in and the one in front of us. A second difference in timing and I’m dead.

Can’t verify anything other than what my lying eyes saw after. The guy ran off into the field and a nearby village and started slaughtering everyone near.

People read an inaccurate article and think you know it all… ridiculous!
The one that took a deal to stop his prosecution for shooting women and children after an ied attack 10 days before? That witness?
There was an active fight between the guy and my sarge who was attempting to flex cuff him. Calm situation my arse. Something about the other gunshots, explosions, and fighting in the vicinity negate the calm descriptor. The same wrong article calls the victim an old man. He wasn’t,
Two points… first, no, it wasn’t.

Second, the admins do a good job of keeping this board free if the worst foolishness. There was nothing to be used in that manner anyway,
Octogenarian? Dude was 18. I already said I regret it because hindsight is 20/20. But in the heat of the moment, during a live raid, watching the guy fighting my sergeant, being told to shoot if he moves again, looking through the sights of my weapon with a restricted FoV, seeing the guy lunge into and onto sarge…. You do what you’re trained to do.

Which prisons were you in? Were you treated the same as any other prisoner? Did they do garbage like excessive solitary?

I think you’re wanting to ask about the dc jail.

It’s one of the nastiest, most violent shitholes in the country. Multiple stabbings a week, excessive drugs, death by cell mate beatings etc.

Most of the Jan 6 guys were segregated into their own dorm where they were the only residents, it was much safer physically. Not all of us were. I was in the “patriot pod” for about two months and then in the other parts of the jail for roughly seven months.

Why the Mad Max outfit? Did you genuinely believe that there was going to be a pitched battle between Feds & Patriots to occupy the Capitol?

It was a goofy LARP costume for the rally. Like the way people dress up with costumes for football games etc.

Good Move. The real Patriots have your back brother. Did you get hit with any of those Rubber Bullets the Feds were firing to instigate everything?

No, but I saw people get shot in the face with tear gas balls, also watched Rosanne boyland get beat in the head with a baton by an officer

twoby OBReb6How were you treated in general on an every day environment

Be more specific. I was in four different prisons during the last year

What was the court situation? Did they give you anything resembling a fair shake?

I felt like people going to court and fighting the charges were being railroaded, so I took a plea deal to minimize that aspect.

Anything you would consider particularly egregious that you experienced?

In hindsight, it was obviously a setup by our own government to agitate and rule up our own citizens. In the moment you just get caught up in it. Afterwards you feel manipulated and used.
I can do some of it now, yes. I’m checking here every thirty minutes or so. Some of the questions are off topic. Some I’ve answered. Some are political gotchas that I’ll simply ignore.

Got a specific question? I may just answer it
I’ve never been to Ohio in my life. Tifwiw. If that’s wrong what else is?

And to clarify it was a goofy LARP costume for the rally. We were antagonized and agitated into violence and such an unruly protest.

Roast me for the costume, it did/does look super goofy.
Y’all believe everything you read in the media now? lol. I had no gun in dc. There was a firearm in the home I was arrested in, back in la.

The manslaughter happened during the heat of battle on a raid of a mujahadeen controlled site. I didn’t know the guy was cuffed and regret it to this day, but judging others during the fog of war when you have the benefit of hindsight? I mean play holier than thou if you want but there’s always more to the story.
