Unlike most Vol fans, I have some optimisim in regards to our current QB. Worley has progressed nicely since the first game, at the very least he's clearly becoming more comfortable in Butch's HUNH offense.

He's not the most talented signal caller in Vol history, but he's smart and has underrated arm-strength. If he can improve his accuracy, he can be more than just a game manager.

They also thought Logan Gray was going to be a monster at quarterback and returner. These things are subject to change.

I honestly did not realize that Prescott was as fast as he is until this season. I thought he was going to be more of a lumbering guy like Relf, but he has some serious wheels.

That was Joeckel. He's solid, but I'll be very surprised if he is the starter. There's been a lot of buzz about true freshmen Kenny Hill, and most A&M insiders expect him to be the starter next year. Of course, nobody really knows for sure.

Nick Marshall has the most potential for the biggest jump from year 1 to year 2 IMO.
He only came to Auburn a few weeks before the season started. So it'll be interesting to see how he can improve with a full offseason to work with his coaches and receivers.

Maybe...but you are talking about replacing one of the most prolific passers in SEC history.

He reminds me of Darron Thomas. Similar build, sort of a loopy motion. His arm is adequate, moves well. Just needs to be more confident in the system and not press.

Pretty worried about Alabama's QB situation. Not that impressed with Blake Sims and the other guys have zero experience and not a ton of buzz that they have what it takes. Alabama has signed / will sign a couple of top guys coming out of HS - hopefully one can get it done.

AJ had zero starts before 2011 and he's done pretty well for himself...there will be a drop off for sure but I doubt a guy flat out craps the bed next yr.

I think Blake Sims and can be a starter...maybe Im in the minority. I think he can beat out Morris and Bateman. Blake was pretty efficiant vs Ga St and it gives Bama the read option element next yr to....just something to think about

It will be interesting to see our QB battle next year.

Brandon Allen (RS Junior)
Austin Allen (RS Freshman)
Rafe Peavey (Freshman)
Damon Mitchell (RS Freshman)

Is what i expect it to look like, i think Brandon obviously has the edge but he will be pushed for it. I don't have Derby in there...i hope bielema realizes he doesn't have much of a future at QB. Peavey will probably redshirt.

I remember hearing Austin would eventually better than Brandon from some Arkansas fans back during their recruiting cycles. What are the chances of him jumping his older brother?

USC's Thompson will be the #1 QB next year. He's one the most games, beaten ranked teams and has a good college completion %. He'll be a 5th year Senior, knows the playbook and has already played well on the road and at home.

He is the experience heir to the Smelley, Garcia, Shaw line that has been striking fear into the conference since 2006. The question is, where are
Tommy Beecher, Cade Thompson, Aramis Hillary, Reid McCollum, Andrew Clifford, and Martay Mattox? Lot of arms coming through, but the production has been low compared to Spurrier's previous stops.

It's hard to say right now since brandon just got done with his first ever road start, but if he doesn't improve like he should it's possible. Austin is supposed to be the more talented QB.

For all we know, Hutson is another Joe Cox but an extra inch or two bigger.

All the top QBs (Manziel, Mett, Murray, McCarron, Shaw, Franklin, guy at Vandy) will be gone.

Are the Aggies finally admitting that Manziel is going pro?

Blake Sims is the front runner at Bama.. I seriously doubt anyone beats him out..

Blake is a very talented player who a lot of Bama fans hate to recognize because... y'know... he's (whispers)Bl... er.. urban or should I just say dual threat. He will cause DCs fits..

Bama will change up its style some to suit his talents.. more sprint outs and boots.. Blake throws very well on the run and is an elusive player. This to go along with ridiculous talent in the backfield at WR TE and HBack.. also returning 4OL with starting exp. Bama will not be fun to defend next season.
