What focus groups or studies are these clowns doing that fuels these decisions? What I would give to listen in on the pitch for this idea

I think a mass email blast to Micheal Thompson and Keith Carter could help get this shite removed.

You’ll find that won’t get much done if at all honestly

They certainly won’t be throwing any extra point balls so might as well throw something

I we wind up beating arkansas maybe they'll do it in celebration. The mediocre version of tearing down the goal posts.

If we win, we are carrying pieces of the Party Decks out of the stadium just like Bama 2014. I’ll be selling portions to commemorate the experience.

Wouldn't be a problem if they would have built the mirror image of the south end zone like the donors payed for. Classic bait and switch.

I wouldn’t be so sure that any of that gets done, PR spin around the current mascot’s design aside. I don’t think athletics really cares to listen to anyone about much of anything unless they absolutely are being forced to, which is rare.

Anyone heard any updates on how the students "loved" the part decks? Or if they will be making updates to them this week before Southeastern?

This coming weekend will be the real test for them. A lame opponent and 3:00pm kickoff. We'll see if these "decks" bring and keep the students in the stands. Since it's 3:00pm kickoff that means those tents will be providing NO SHADE due to the direction of the sun.

I know watching the game that the student section definitely emptied out at halftime so they obviously didn't fill the hype the administration put on them.

Or in two weeks when we play Cal at 11 a.m., which Luke apparently campaigned hard for rather than playing at night. I get Cal will be unaccustomed to the heat and maybe slightly lagged, but Jesus. I can't ever remember Florida coughing up a night game for an early kick. It's lame as hell.

The game is definitely an 11 a.m. kick.

LINK

The afternoon sports show on Super Talk said that Luke had been lobbying the SEC since the summer to have the 11 a.m. slot instead of 7 p.m. in order to take advantage of Cal being from Pacific Time and their not being used to the mid-day heat here.

Those guys may have been reporting bad info, but that is 100% what they claimed.

That’s just dumb. Our team conditioning is not good at all. We already have home field.
