re: Our resume is better than Ole Miss is getting credit for

Henry you automatically assume that there will be an opportunity to hire a great coach. Those don't come along very often. I know, I've been around this program for 40 plus years.
You, instead of being pissed off at HF for fricking our program up, continue to blame Matt Luke for a present situation. All he is trying to do is correct the shortcomings that he was left with from Freeze's lack of recruiting on the defensive side of the ball.

Regardless on you opinion of Freeze, Luke is flying this plane straight for the mountainside. Keeping him around will only continue to damage this program. Yes, it is that bad. Obviously you've never been around football enough (I'm talking X and O) to understand just how very poorly coached our team is right now. Let me tell you. He has already lost the team.

Awful analogy. A more accurate analogy would be that freeze wrecked us into a mountain and Luke is the one trying to get us back in the air. It’s fair to question whether he can get it done or not but freeze wrecked the plane. Why is this so hard for y’all to admit

Freeze dared everyone to come after us and he lost. He could’ve not said shite like Saban and other big time coaches do when people accuse him of cheating but his ego wouldn’t let him. He and Ross were absolute tools on Twitter. So yeah he did cause it.

Because it is all smoke and mirrors. Freeze did not cause this. He had one bad year after years of an anal exam from the NCAA. He had some LBs committed that decided to sign elsewhere on signing day. He fired the DC because the D sucked and never got a chance to fix it. Our running game sucked because the O line couldn't run block (or pass block) and he wasn't allowed to fire the OL coach. Freeze would have righted this ship. He got fired for a personal issue when he should have been kept and Bjork's dumb arse should have been on the street for the way that he handled all of the NCAA investigations.

Look at him now. After 6 years, he still says that we are "exploring our options." Screw that. We should have been done exploring our options 4 years ago.

Bjork killed this program. Matt Luke is simply making matters worse.

So, NO, I do not blame Freeze at all except for calling some ladies of the night while he was married. But his wife forgave him and stayed with him so who am I to judge him past that? He was a hell of a coach. I have been in football a loooong time and he was a true gem. He has just enough ego and arrogance to keep trying to win.

Can't you just enjoy our big picnic party in the grove?

Leave the winning to the other schools? We're never meant for that and it's foolish to think otherwise.

They have winning football programs, but we have locations where you can set up tents on game day. We have a town square with bars, boutique shops, and even restaurants. Can those other winning schools say that?

Do you honestly believe that people with info, or people that lied to the NCAA, only did so bc of Freeze's tweet? IMO, these things were already underway and his tweet didn't do jack to alter what was going down. It is just a fun thing to point at afterwards and say see, you asked for it. In the grand scheme it had zero impact on what was going down.

Freeze’s initial tweet along with him saying he was going to pray for the lead investigator because they were Satan trying to invade our locker room was the impetus for Mark Sheridan to go gloves off. Coupled with the laremy stuff that’s what sunk Hugh Freeze. Believe me or don’t. It was just going to be the ACT stuff and we skate if he just shuts up and let’s us wink wink our way out of it. Even Nutt knew better than to invite them onto campus.
