For the conference games, it’s 750-800 a night . Plus all the taxes and fees. $2,000 before you’ve set foot in the town. Insane.

Trust me the university and the city realize how ridiculous it is and to their credit they are both doing something to fix it. 20 years from not this town will double in size to where we’ve basically expanded to Sardis/Etta/Taylor etc. They have a plan

Points are definitely the way to go for hotels if you can find availability. Used some IHG points for the Bama game last year that worked out to ~$300/ night instead of $1000. Got a good deal for the egg bowl too. Some places don’t let you used points for 1-2 nights only, so if you’re flexible you can find some deals if you book extra nights.

You’d think it’s just about having more competition, but could the extra that would create the competition make it when there are no ballgames going on? That’s the million dollar question.

Adding more businesses and events will take care of that just fine

2 nights at a hotel on a GameDay weekend are probably close to a 1000 alone.

He said he lived within a mile of the stadium. I understand your worst case scenario here and I agree. But if you are within driving distance, it's fun to go to the game.

Trigg skipped practice today to go party in Dallas. Hasn’t been to a tutoring session in weeks and yelled at a tutor when they told the coaches. It’s over.

What a fricking waste of talent.

Also glad nobody listened to me wanting us to go after Arik Gilbert... he was arrested for B&E last night in Nebraska

Trigg could’ve been better than Evan Engram but he’s a piece of shite with a terrible attitude. Makes sense that Chris Marshall was his best friend on the team. He came here with dart and they were best buds but they’ve slowly grown apart

Keep Prieskhorn in bubble wrap . Limited action to start. No reason to get him hurt with no decent depth behind him

Trigg can get fricked . Can’t help those who won’t help themselves. They’ve given him ample opportunities and he refuses to play by the rules.

Go to EMCC or dig ditches. I don’t care

Chuck said he’s still on the team. Blows my mind after what he did to the tutors and skipping practice. Gotta have dirt on lane or some shite

He has to be let off the team or else that sends a BAD message to the rest of the players

I would take it all with a grain of salt. We don’t know what happened and that rumor didn’t come from ON3 or Rivals….and I don’t trust DJ whatsoever based upon his recent reporting.

I love football season. How difficult and different is it trying to ride herd over some of these clowns compared to say, oh I don’t know. the baseball team?

Trigg seems like he’s bipolar. Maybe a psych eval and medication could help him out. So much talent wasted. There’s gotta be something deeper going on with him than just a bad attitude.

We’ll surely USC could’ve put a diagnosis on him… then he comes here and lookey there the entire coaching staff is mental health certified whatever that means .. surely someone there would be able to see the signs or refer him on to an actual clinician .

I mean if it looks/acts and talks like a duck…

But maybe this kid is just an immature shitehead in the program with wasted talent .. he isn’t the first and won’t be the last

I talked a bit about this on another board but having experience with a bi-polar child this sounds a lot like it could be in play here. The hardest part is the patient has to want the help and often times bi-polar people don’t want to loose the mania. Also they can be extremely manipulative.

All these what we thought were marginal NFL players of ours last year making 53-man NFL rosters this year has me both a little nervous and a little pissed. Nervous that we couldn't do any better at the end with that type of talent and pissed that we tanked at the end with that type of talent.
