I don’t know that it’s a matter of money as much as it is we won’t be in a position to do a search.

Hiring McIntyre as interim next year makes sense all the way around. He gets to audition for a head job, whether that’s here or somewhere else. We will have an AD and be in a better position to do a real search. And the fans don’t have to look at matt Luke’s stupid face for another season

Haha, no problem. We better have a little solidarity and humor during times like this.

That sounds like a waste of another year. The time to fire Luke is now.

I get that Plumlee doesn't have the arm but I don't understand why all of our passing plays are for 2-3 yard out routes while JRP is running. Especially on that last set of downs. He's throwing these out passes that are nowhere near the marker and basically wastes two downs. Then decides to throw a fade to a receiver that has the defender over the top of him when he's got a wide open receiver 2 yards past the first down line wide open. THEN on the 4th down play he stares down the receiver who is triple covered on the short out and is forced to run around when we have a receiver that is wide open in the middle of the field when the safety is covering deep on the far sideline!! Not only would that pass have been a 1st down, he had tons of space and could have resulted in the winning td.

I think our passing woes are a mixture of the following; RR's scheme either isn’t being executed or is shite, JRP isn't comfortable in the pocket and hasn't progressed as a thrower, and Corral isn't being given a shot to develop.

We have already lost Tisdale and could lose Corral pretty soon if we aren't careful. Tisdale showed flashes of being pretty good and Corral is better than JRP right now. We could be left with possibly the worst QB of the three we had.

Corrall will probably transfer if we keep Luke and or Rich Rod. I don’t blame him either.

It won’t matter if he stays or goes if we don’t get better on the line. 2 seconds to throw would make Brett Favre look bad

You forgot to add that it looks like the qbs are targeting 3 yards short and throwing it into the turf everytime. We need micro midget receivers the way they are throwing.

Either that, or we need to recruit some receivers with go-go-gadget arms that can stretch 3 yards behind them to catch the turf balls.

RR had a QB throw for 3900 yards like 5 years ago. Doubt he’s forgotten how to coach. For me, it’s all about the shitty O-line play. The guys redshirting this year have to be ready next year no matter who is the coach or OC.

Rich Rod tanked Michigan and they still haven't recovered.

He sucks as a coach. That is very evident from the Busch League mistakes he is making at OC for us.

Brady Hoke went 11-2 at Michigan literally the year after RR got fired with the team that RR built. Then Brady Hoke slowly tanked the program. This may shock you but sometimes it can take time to build a football team.

RR may leave, but I don't think you will be seeing him fired for more than one reason. On a related note, I realize the opposition was lacking, but JRP threw the ball better yesterday. The kid has plenty arm and touch to be a passing threat along with those wheels. Damn at the wheels. And though watching him torch certain defenses with his feet was gratifying and fun to watch, it alone is not a recipe for success against the upper echelon of the SEC. Either we won't have the line for him to do it or he'll get smoked or bent the wrong way after one too many runs and he'll be out a couple weeks or longer.

This board is not concerned with facts that don't suit their interpretation of RR being a terrible OC. He is not. RR is not as bad as people think and MM is not as good. We have two good coordinators and an obvious lack of talent. As HC, its Luke's job to change the talent; he is not.
