There's just no dead weight in the SEC, at least with Vanderbilt playing well.

That’s why we need simmons healthy with how we run the QB in our offense. No guarantee that Chambliss survives all the SEC games running 14 times a contest.

They can't. The SEC and Big10 equally control the playoffs. I still don't think most of you understand that. It's really not a college football playoff. It's the B1G and SEC playoff and we just let the other conferences participate.

Also, Josh Pate released his prediction for the game tonight. His model (power rankings - who would be favored on a neutral field) - likes us a lot this week. Model has us as a 4.5 point favorite over LSU and Josh has us covering as one of his top picks of the week.

The closer this gets, the better I feel about our chances but I also start thinking we get our asses kicked. Anytime I feel good going into a game against LSU, Bama or UGA we usually get smoked.
