I’m glad they want to play and I appreciate Dart I really do but Kiffin not getting Simmons reps in a truly meaningless game(I’ve never been one to harp on bowl games anyway except to troll) is a disservice to him. Not getting him more reps earlier this season already puts him behind.

Nah, WAOM dictates we win 70-0 and Bentley rushes for 300 yards. Eight of the teams in the playoff ahead of us will get blown out, the best of which will get stomped by a team we beat 28-10. Then we can spend the next decade talking about how close we were and how we could have legitimately made a run for the ship.

I just hope he doesn’t go full tard like he did in the Texas bowl against Texas tech going for it on our own 9 yard line or whatever it was. We straight up did not give ourselves a chance to win. And played our self right out of it

I would have thought he wanted to do the same thing to State, but we saw how that turned out. There are certain things you probably need to do to demoralize a team, and well, if you aren’t gonna do them, don’t expect it to happen. I haven’t seen our offense look respectable in a month. (Yeah I’m counting weeks off, but the point still stands.)

I don’t think Kiffin really cares about the Egg Bowl. He knows his boss and the fans don’t want to lose it but I doubt he’s very emotionally invested in it. He’s more focussed on Georgia, Texas and Alabama

Me too. Honestly, I just see MSU as another SEC member and a really low end member at that. I don't get all into the hate State stuff because, for all intents and purposes, they really don't matter any more than Kentucky, Vanderbilt, or South Carolina.
I hate Auburn and Tennessee far more than I do MSU.
