Well said and that’s what people are hoping for. The offense takes the steps it needs to and a bend not completely break defense.
I’m hoping LSU is pass heavy with Hilton healthy. Kelly is always locked in on establishing the running game which we understand but I am worried about freshman Durham saving us on the ground. Plenty of carolina receivers were wide open but sellers went full durp. But it’s impossible to ignore how bad LSU’s secondary is. Not staffing the defensive side properly has been Kelly’s biggest mistake by far. Our previous secondary coach is like an analyst at Minnesota and was coaching high school three years ago. Damn...Chicken is saying he's heard Hilton is out for the season. the staff has been downplaying things because he can high jump 7 feet and is a complete freak. he's a vertical threat we don't have.
Honestly assumed we were letting him rest for this week. if it's true I feel worse about the game.

I hope we win, and I think we probably should, but it’s hard to feel confident.
Dart and the running game have looked beat up and inept for like 3 games in a row. Even if LSU is leaving WRs open, Dart hasn’t proven he can consistently hit them.
Our front-7 is beastly, but our secondary is going to have to play defense without grabbing their WRs or it won’t matter.
All that being said, I’m hoping for the best, and go to hell LSU!

Honestly all of my fellow alums are absolutely nothing like ranters in real life. The internet really gives a platform for the sub-human mongoloids of every fanbase.
The conversations with normal fans are along the lines of "Brian Kelly really needs to win this game". We don't care that you failed to hire a strong defensive staff out of the gates. fricking fix it. And for the love of God-we can not have our classic Kelly special being down 13-0 immediately.

Is Dart injured? Seems like he has had some off games.
It really is not an exaggeration that we will make every passing game look damn good. LSU is just devoid of talent in the secondary minus a couple of freshmen. I am not sure what the previous defensive staff was doing recruiting DB's.
As crazy as it sounds, though, the defense is seemingly better at times without Perkins. He is a beast but his football iq is awful, he's just floating around the field half the game.

I don’t think he’s hurt because he seems to be overthrowing receivers. Usually you under throw if you’re playing hurt. I think he was just rattled with the pass rush after our center went down. He was very panicky and looked like he was just chunking the ball at times.

All I want is a RB that gets us a 1st down in short yardage situations. Does anyone know our 3rd down in short yardage stats? I don't think they are good.
