It’s not confidence it’s fact. I mean in years past I would admit in games my team really doesn’t have much of a chance. This year would be the case for logical LSU fans that have researched the stats. Your offense is #16 nationally. Or Defensive pts allowed is 2nd nationally and has the most sack. Our offense is #2 nationally and your defense is #66…..so statistically I would say the odds favor Ole Miss greatly.

You forget Chuckie Boy Weis.

It’s going to be hard to beat LSU on runs up the middle and no third down conversions.

The OM offensive stats are meaningless since they were padded against cupcakes.

So would you say LSU’s D is better than UK? How about South Carolina? I would submit they are not in the same zip code! In fact UK has the #11 D and South Carolina has the #31 D while LSU has the #66 D……

Then you have to see the vaunted offenses that LSU has faced. The highest ranked offense is USC at #36, then no others team broaches the top 50 Offenses in the nation. So the one team that doesn’t crash the top 25% of top offenses was the team that outperformed them.

I am not saying that this game is going to be a blow out because they have a bye coming into it and could scheme some things against our D. I am saying statistically we have clear advantages on both offense and defense.

Heard Tre is okay and will play. Hearing Princely may be out until OU or UGA. No clue about Jeremy or Jayden.

I acknowledged on the previous page “by all accounts ole miss should win”

Is this your first LSU Ole Miss game? You couldn’t count how many LSU teams were more talented and statistically better than Ole Miss in the last two decades only to be stunned. The roles are just reversed. On paper Ole Miss is certainly better top to bottom than LSU, but I don’t see the crime in liking LSU’s chances at home, revenge game, and has an elite offense.

We're going into week 6. Every team has stats padded by cupcakes.

you've had some sound points but this one is not it. Your offense is ranked 31st in scoring. Vandy is averaging a point and a half more per game.

Saying this is completely different than……

There is a huge difference saying we will give you a game and maybe we will upset you as compared to talking shite. Then again I am that quiet guy in real life that doesn’t talk shite.

Well, last Saturday just erased most of the downside of losing to Kentucky.

Good luck this week. Didn’t think it was wild to suggest Ole Miss should win but LSU is going to get its share of yards but this really seems to bother you.

I think we'll be able to pass against yall all night. Be we'll need to be able to run the ball. Parrish has taken a beating last two games. I think Matt Jones is a little better than most OM fans give him credit for. And we still don't know wtf is up with Bentley.

Oh, y’all are going to get a lot of yards. Major Burns and Sage Ryan are two of the worst secondary guys in my 25 years as an LSU fan and it isn’t even close. Two of those guys that never seem like they will graduate.

LSU got very lucky with Bo Davis as DL coach, still can’t believe we pulled it off from UT. The truest definition of making chicken salad out of chicken shite, at least compared to the talent we have had in the last few decades. Our DE are very talented but the interior is weak and thin, though we have some promising freshmen. But we’ve wasted our DL for five years and these guys get a better pass rush than most of our previous units.

I am fully expecting a shootout. All I am banking on is throwing the stat sheet out the window for this rivalry. Some crazy shite should happen (inexplicable turnovers, bizarre big plays) but if things go as planned ole miss will win

Oh I think that’s totally fair. Y’all should honestly feel confident, was just having a little fun. I thought ole miss cleaned up a lot of things, and I think South Carolina blew both of their feet off right out of the gates

Our biggest problem is we sometimes forget who we are offensively. We still try to get cute with shite like we had to do a few years ago because of lacking talent. We have the talent now. Stop with the cute shite and just run the offense.

Ole Miss won’t have a problem moving the ball against LSU. The issue Ole Miss has had this year is at times not finishing drives. I think LSU will have a hard time running against Ole Miss. I really think if Ole Miss just finishes drive they can win this by 2 scores. I think LSU will have to hold Ole Miss to field goals and win the turnover battle to win this game.

This is the fairest analysis I have seen. The biggest issue is this is the weakest front 7 we have seen in the SEC by a large measure and their DBs are actually worse. They give up chunk plays and that was clearly on display when they made Sellors look like an All-Pro until he went out. Ashford came in to replace him…..that kid couldn’t hit a 6’ X 6’ brick wall standing 5’ away.
