I don't understand WTH Bjork is doing. He's literally letting his career ride in the hands of Matthew Luke...

Is there something he is attempting to keep under wraps? Why keep himself surrounded with the incompetent people that blew the hole in the ship and can't figure out how to plug it? Does he intend to go down with the ship? It makes absolutely no sense.

Just so you all arent surprised I'll go ahead and tell you what is going to happen...

Matt Luke will get an extension so he can "get a good coordinator"..

His buyout wont be reduced

We will hire an underwhelming DC

The DC will get a ridiculous contract and buyout

We will keep the rest of the coaches

Our recruiting class will be garbage

We will win 2-3 games next year

Matt Luke will still smell shite on the sidelines and play with a fidget spinner behind his back every game.

If he gets an extension then I am done with Ole Miss for the foreseeable future. I will actively pull against them in every game they have.

Bjork and the boosters must know that there is a large portion of fans who hate Luke and want him gone. So they're doubling down and saying "deal with it or frick off"

How can anyone support this? Do people not care? Do people who have been going to the Grove and to games for decades (like me) even give a frick about winning or losing? I don't want to go to a game and watch us lose. I don't want to spend the money on that shite. I don't want to deal with the hassle of going to the Grove so I can feel shitty after a game. frick all that.

It's like I said halfway through 2017. If Luke was hired, it would be because the boosters and higher ups just want an excuse to go to the Grove on Saturdays and don't care if we win or lose. It's fricking pathetic and it's the reason I've been going off since he was hired permanently.

Because you have incredibly dense fans who didnt understand what was happening and were hell-bent on "giving Luke a chance. He won the Egg Bowl after all!"
This hire should have been fought against tooth and nail like Tennessee fans did when they were going to hire Schiano. The only thing that will get Luke out is not only an empty stadium, but an empty Grove

Then why did everyone on here blast HJJ and me for calling out as a shitty hire. There were plenty of people wanting to give him his chance and just a few that were angry about it from the get go.

You guys are spinning this I told you so moment way out of proportion. No one on here liked the Luke hire. If fact I was one of the few vehemently against it. That being said, any coach deserves a chance once hired to show what they can do. He sucked. So now he failed with his chance and people are against him being at the helm.

To be against Luke however does not mean I will EVER root against Ole Miss. These young men deserve my support irregardless of the arse wipes in charge.

What'd he do, exactly? Go out there and personally turn Fitzgerald's ankle completely around so it was facing the wrong way? And then they STILL nearly lost that game, right?

Ole Miss didn't "win" that egg bowl. They just didn't lose it.

I was all for giving him a chance **After** he was hired. Did not want him as choice number one, but was okay with giving him a shot since we were stuck in a shitty spot.

What little room for error he had he pissed away quickly. Losing all of his home SEC games (Matt Luke is still winless at home in SEC play) and pissing away would be wins with inexcusable play calling and lack of input into any games. And we get murdered in all the big games. It hasn’t even been close for any games yet against a team that wins 8 or more games.

ETA: he actually beat vandy at home in 2017. One SEC home victory in 2 seasons.

This is a waste of time and energy. It's just as easy to not give a shite and do something productive with your time.

Everyone that had some sense. Most of the fanbase is complacent and believed the lie that nobody else wanted the job. Myself and a few others on here were put on blast for not giving him a chance. He never did deserve a chance because he was extremely underqualified and especially when others were actually interested

As I look back Henry saw what was coming. This is pathetic. Any other school would have canned Luke by now.

...blah, blah, blah...

"Specifically for football, my plan is to do the following:
• Support Coach Luke in making any and all adjustments to fix deficiencies" ....

"Now is the time to get behind Coach Luke, our staff, our players and help showcase this great University so that we can attract the next wave of exceptional student-athletes like so many that have come before."

Seems pretty definite.
