I'd buy the San Jose Sharks and a couple of car dealerships.
ETA: and a painting of Bea Arthur nude.

Weird...I have a nude painting of Bea Arthur. She looks a lot better in her birthday suit than in her pant suit.
I'll sell it to you for $1,000....

Hit the casino. Put it all on black and let it roll.

Invest in my art and promote me internationally. I am working on some seriously cutting edge paintings right now that I'm confident, with the right promotion, could be very successful.
Use your wealth to make other talented people more successful.

Honest Answer. I have completely thought this out many times and this is my final answer.
$600 million is going to look like $3-400 million after the IRS gets done. Let's call it $300 since i'm a pro-life conservative.
$200 million to church and causes.
$50 million to bank upon retirement
$50,000 x 2 per kid to go to college
$1 million x 2 per kid upon college graduation
$10 million to start a scholarship for middle class white boys with mid to low 3 GPA who's parents don't pay for a cent of college and also refuse to take out a loan. I relate to them and want them to succeed.
probably clear out mortgage and car debt (thankful that's all i have.) ~$100,000.
buy land. start building a nice but modest home with hunting and a 200 acre fishing pond
buy 1 year old models of the cars my wife and I want.
and then go to work the next day.

What if they went to UT?

100 million to UA, half going to college of engineering other half to start a scholarship fund.
Don't know what I'd do with the other 200 million. I'd probally go back to work.
No point in spending money I don't have, I don't play the lottery. To much pie in the sky for my tastes.

First, get a lawyer.
Second, hide on the beach and at a lodge in Alaska for like a year. Just fly family and friends to you. The key here it to not be around people in your normal routine. Just get the frick out of dodge for a year.
Third, I have a certain license I don't want anymore that I would personally deliver to the proper state institution in flames.
Fourth, get a money guy. We're talking more money than anyone needs so set up a play money account and put the rest in something safe that will keep your family set forever.
Fifth, set up some family and friends the right way. I have zero family and only one or two friends that I would even begin to consider just writing a check to. Get money guy from four and lawyer from one to set some things up to guarantee a level of income. This level would vary person to person.
Sixth, I have farm and a duck property picked out. That would settle my land needs. Figure if I got married (which let's all be honest, would not be a hard task all things considered), I'd probably get roped in to the beach condo. My vote would be for an island rather than a US beach.
Seventh, and this seems odd, I'd spend my days in my top notch wood shop making stuff just for fun.

I would buy a nice house, new truck, boat and other toys.
Buy a lot of hunting and farming land..land always increases in value.
Start up businesses and put the money back into the economy..use it to create jobs and grow my wealth further while establishing a network of business for my family to enjoy for generations
