Bump for the evening crew.
Again, didn’t love it or think it was the best thing ever but thought it was pretty decent for screaming faire and wanted other opinions

I’m not a big horror guy, but he did make “the thing“ and I will love him for that forever

Man Big T gave Michelson a long hug there. That was gut wrenching.
It was like he wanted to celebrate and all of the sudden remembered that his friend was hurting.
Love that man.

Decent heist film with Theo James, Aaron Taylor Johnson, and Sam Worthington and Gugu Mbatha-Rawin a fairly diminished roles.
Has some Inside Man vibes where the heist isn't what it seems and there is a back story to why they are doing it.
Decent watch for streaming, glad i didn't pay for it in theaters.
6.5/10

Damn, was it that good?
i rank it right below Spider-Man 2 but barely. Very good story and arc for everybody.
of summer movies it was the most enjoyable, right above End of Oak Street.
I really like Odyssey, but could never see it again.

Never hit a woman.
i've lived my life in such a way that every physical altercation with a dude has been deescalated and nothing got too far and I've never had to think about hitting a woman.
but if a woman comes at me in a way, I wouldn't think twice about hitting her just to stop.
the kick was too far for sure and I'm fine with the book getting thrown at him.

i don't want anybody to die and truly don't wish ill on people, but like the two idiots that FAFO'd in Minneapolis this winter, sometimes you do things that make your life forfeit and I'm said you died, but after that, I just don't care.
I'm not for or against big game hunting, but whenever the rich dude gets mauled by a lion or trampled by an elephant, I'm not happy they died, but they decided to put themselves in that situation.

Rough ending to that match. Was a really good match too.
It was pretty sloppy but competitive. Andreeva needs to get ahold of some of that weed that was in the stands and mellow out.

Alcaraz thought he was gonna play the winner of Tiafoe/Medvedev, but at least that's not his main job.
I don’t blame the players. They’ve just been balls out for 2-4 hours and focused on the person across from them.
The irony was that he said “I hate to ask you this…” and then asks a prepared question.

Ok. So the interview guy after Andreeva and Potatova just asked Andreeva “I hate to ask you this..” and then proceeded to ask the wrong names of who she would rather play in next match.
Get this retard out of there. If he hadn’t asked a stupid question nobody would have known.

Seriously? She was basically saying that religious Jews tend to be conservative. But secular Jews, who comprise the strong majority of the Jewish population, have a totally different mindset.
that's why you can kinda agree with Ben Shapiro or Dennis Praeger on a lot of issues but get really off kilter with their neoCon behavior. I'm not Ben's biggest fan because his biggest issue is Israel, but he has a mostly similar moral code on most issues.
The problem (like with Wexler) is that they will always go back to Israel as their cornerstone and that will always be a fracture point for most conservatives when it comes to America First or MAGA.
They'll win some people over like Ted Cruz or Huckabee because of Zionism born out of the Old Testament, but most reformed people reject that which is where the schism is on the right regarding this.

Then they get Harbaugh, and manage to win 11+ games in 5/6 seasons, and only 1 of those seasons was Harbaugh so you can’t say it’s just because they had an elite coach. They “figured” something out for that stretch
And that stretch coincides with RG3 time in college so it checks out
I'm not a giant RGIII hater, but he is bombastic. His story checks out fairly well with this timeline. Stanford sucked well before Luck and Harbaugh and well after.

I’m not arguing with either of those points.
I’m saying that if a defender stepped out bounds and deflected a ball on a random sideline pass or deflected it from out of bounds or even intercepted it with 9:44 left in the 2nd quarter, the review crew is not going to look at that and say actually it was 9:44:01 and say to round it up to 9:45. Every single time they’re just going to call it when the ball hit the ground or when the last football move is made. They may blow it dead because they know he was out of bounds, but they are not going to go back and analyze his contact to the millisecond.
That is only being called that way because it was end of game.

To treat that last second like a forensic crime scene on a murder case at the end of a game where 100s of seconds had been arbitrarily lost and gained is stupid.
That’s my gripe. How many extra seconds are given or taken by a late whistle where they aren’t going to go back and say that he stepped out of bounds at 1:38.97 and they just say put it at 1:38?
The extra time given on analysis was only because it was the end of game when they wouldn’t do that for a random incomplete bobbled drop in the 2nd quarter.
That being said the .001 was when the defender touched the ball. Not when the ball hit the ground or he came down with it. There no way that he took less than .01 to come down with it or it to be deflected to the ground.
Even if he caught it from out of bounds you can’t blow it dead till he or the ball hit the ground and it sounds like they’re calling it dead on touch.

That was reversed on the field before people left the stands I believe.
