Shameless was also on Showtime at that time, soooo

I’d argue FX has been doing this since early 2000s with shield, rescue me, nip/tuck, etc.

Never heard of this show but, I'd check it out just because of this scene.

it's super depressing. not like the good kind. I'll spoil it a little bit, but not too much.

*******SPOILER*******

Linney finds out she has cancer and keeps it to herself. She gets pissy at everyone around her because she is carrying that burden by herself and resents that nobody is going through it with her. She cheats on her husband and only tells him she's going through cancer to get out of the consequences.

She has quite the rack.

I sometimes forget that her and Judy Greer are both good looking, they're just not Hollywood good looking if that makes sense.

Fun fact: the producers of the film changed the antagonists because they thought the Arab terrorism angle was played out. After production had wrapped on the film, 19 Arab terrorists carried out the 9/11 attacks.

I remember when Affleck got owned on Maher's show about Islamaphobia and tried to pull his "middle eastern studies" card. He went to college for a year and a half.

It was obvious even before 9/11 that we were bending over backwards to not look racist to the people we probably should have been most protective against.

Plus UM and IU cheated

UM I get but don’t care that much about.

How did IU cheat in today’s landscape beyond what any other team has done?

I hate this world that we’re in and have a million complaints but I just don’t see a world where I’m more mad at IU and accept Bama’s championships at the same face value.
Framed 3. Should have been 2.

What was with all the black and white last week? Never heard of the naval one.

5 one frame
2 Titleshot
2 Posters
10 on episodes. Never even tried this one but I knew Jared Harris was in it. That single series caused the most hilarious infighting on this board.

The real event it’s based on is a cop finding a large amount of money in a house and having to count it and being nervous. That’s it.

In the Rogan interview mentioned above, Affleck said that he built the Nun scene around the story of a real life robber in prison he interviewed in jail when trying to evolve a movie plot that resulted in The Town.

Really good for Netflix. Really good.

Also of note is Damon and Affleck did Rogan this week and it was a good interview.

I think you meant to say Rihanna's pregnant titties.

Ironically I meant to say Rihanna’s fine pregnant arse but referring to the whole of her.
that is a hard 68. neither of my parents or in laws (all almost 80) looked that bad at that age.

to be fair, the only halftime shows i have liked in the last 20 years was Rihanna's pregnant arse, 2022 with the 90s rappers, Prince, and Coldplay.

Day of the Jackal, Twisted Metal, Poker Face… Peacock has some other hidden gem TV shows in their inventory.

understated. they have some really great shows. they are like Apple TV where they have a lot of small and mediocre original content, but the hits hit.
This is factually incorrect Hill country is north south and west of Austin.it entirely encompasses it.

East is a bit of coastal Texas (Bastrop, Giddings, etc.)

Brady, Eden, San Angelo area has Hill Country, High Plains, South Texas Scrub, and desert all within an hour.
i have to admit that I was not a fan of his at FSU, but he has done a lot to rehab his image and come off like genuinely likeable guy.

True, but if you can use the latter to demonize a city while flooding it with Gestapos, well...

it the city wouldn't do dumb illegal shite and let people do dumb illegal shite on repeat, the gestapos wouldn't be there.
