currently?

Dillards. It's all we have now.

Growing up?

Buckle
AE
Gadzooks
Gap
County Seat.

Interestingly, I went into a buckle when we were killing time at a mall during a basketball tournament for a kid last Decemberand I went into a Buckle for old times sake and realized it had pretty much turned into a boot barn or Cavendars instead of frat daddy prep boy from the 90s.

Any time any of these cases or national situations come up (Anthony, Good, Pereti,Floyd, Rittenhouse, etc.) I'm always reminded at how easy it is to not kill somebody or get killed by not being a dumbass.

Sometimes the situations find you, but they're mostly avoidable.

the above is not directed at Metcalfe.

If this wasn't completely made up it would be concerning.

seems like it wasn't made up
same here.

and even congress.gov in 23 said so.

the argument will be "not illegals" but we have to remember that Biden took any and all requests (ex-pat, political refugee, etc.) as legal protected status.

it's like saying that weed became legal and they weren't ever illegally using drugs.

that's like fighting with jelly.

I'll give it a listen but I'd always assumed that. You're much, much more reliant on government in a large metro area so it's normal to want a nanny state.

right now i don't want the city to tell me what I can and can't do with my property like redoing my fence or adding a deck.

i expect my tax dollars to provide good roads and a safe environment in a homogonous community.

if you're in an apartment in Manhattan, you sure as hell want regulation that your upstairs neighbor remodeling his bathroom has culpability if it leaks. You also can't really keep a car so public transport is very important.

you also are in a diverse society, so you can't understand why somebody in the sticks wouldn't want to deal with extra crime so that they can have nice falafels.

rural/suburban people have a fundamentally different relationship with the government.

Viggo and Cronenberg had two gems within a couple years I rewatch occasionally - the other being Eastern Promises, which is fanfrickingtastic.

Eastern Promises was a way better film but I liked both. both had a solid twist.

I still don’t know why he goes to sporting events like these. It ends up costing the s as Mercian tax payers millions and is a massive headache for the people attending

i personally like the president that enjoys our institutions. part of Western society is a social cohesion around our local team. i was taken aback at seeing Talarico in a spurs shirt last night, but we do cheer for Texas teams.

Obama was a pretend basketball and White Sox fan and Biden probably couldn't have named a sports team on most days.
i asked my wife about putting $100 in there (we were making $27k a year teacher salary with a 1 year old at the time) and she said "if you think that's a good investment of our money..."

It would probably go down as the biggest financial flop of the year if Desert Warrior didn't exist. Which turns out, people didn't know it existed. 150 million budget and it made a whopping... 700K

i just looked this up and wow.

Hate that for Mackie.

Season five of Justified was like an episode of Breaking Bad that featured a lot of Walt Jr. It sucked.

it does have the payoff of Michael Rappaport getting shot in the dick at least.

I still don’t know how Spike Lee does either.

I think he’s wildly talented as a director but Inside Man is just about his only movie that has made money.

That would make you a sad individual. There’s still conservatives living there. Even if they didn’t, it’s pathetic.

I’m just saying in sports. Unbunch your panties.

I’m happy for people from Chicago, Boston, NY, LA, and Austin being unhappy sports all the time.

Good night sweet Knickerbockers.

If they were playing anybody else, I would probably be cheering for them but I love people from NY being sad.

What’s wild is that Tbird and myself are rabidly right wing and completely Spurs homers.

Considering how young they are and that they’re 2 years ahead of schedule, I can’t complain.

Will take it considering how they shite in SA.
You say that but how many times do you yell about PI, a bad pitch call, or holding against your team?
