Watched Alien last night in his honor. Well I would have anyways for spooky season, but still

there's probably been 25+ employees come and go since i've been here, but the owner, his wife, and their son (one of my best friends) have remained the whole time.
i get offers to leave and go work for fortune 500 companies pretty regularly, but I like working somewhere that I don't have to crawl my way up and go through HR and DEI malarky.
my boss drives me nuts a lot, but is good man and I prefer making money with him over some random Indian CEO that's going to turn over leadership and go through downsizing and restructuring every Q4.

Criticize it for not being enough but the SOBhas tried harder to fix this than any president in our lifetimes with rabid opposition for not other reason than feelings.

I've been pretty hard on Paxton in this thread, but he offered to bow out if Cornyn would stop being a pussy and get the SAVE act through and Cornyn completely ignored that very easy offer to keep his seat.
Hell, I would have voted for him in the general if he got that done.

It's more important for conservatives to show how principled they are then to actually prevent a Marxist takeover of the country. That's why so many conservatives insist on trashing their own candidates 24/7, even days before a close election.

i have been calling out my own side since March when I said that all of us should get behind Hunt and ditch the democrat swamp creature and the clown show.
All they would have thrown at Hunt was that he was a democrat in his earlier life and missed some votes when his wife was having a child. Military service, married, solid voting record. No known affairs or financial baggage, doesn't have disdain for the Texan people, not a raging liberal weirdo.
