Growing up in west Texas that was our rule.

Grew up in a cotton field with deer, hogs, snakes, coyotes, and turkey that we saw regularly.

Hogs, coyotes, and snakes were fine as long as we didn’t find them at the house.

Lots of dead rattlesnakes that liked our front porch.

I miss west Texas but the one I do not miss is shaking out your shoes every morning for scorpions.

Asian with blonde hair, yes please. Of course not guilty.

An asian looking like that in Llano is a huge red flag.

Nice town in the hill country, but I don't know that I've ever seen a single asian person there in 40 years, nonetheless one that looked like that.

in a previous life i worked with school districts and was in San Saba, TX (close to there) and walking through with the tech director and we go in a class and there is an absolute stunning teacher that makes no sense to be in a town that tiny, and a HS boy sees my face and says "yeah it's nuts isn't it."

most small towns don't have teahers that look like that.

i was too young to appreciate her in my teens (the 90s) but found a love for FM later on.

She admitted to abortions so she could keep her career going. Wildly talented musician, but that's a bit ick.

I absolutely love all of Fleetwood Mac's catalog and consider myself a giant homer, but Stevie Nicks is not that good looking and has more of that slut persona than attractive.

that being said, their live rendition of Silver Springs where she is absolutely eye daggering Buckingham with her eyes and he looks away is one of the greatest music performances of the 20th century.

ETA: Shania is the answer to the OP.

she's my age so i've been able to enjoy her at every age. she's just as great now as she has been.

she's not a 10 in a world of instawhores and supermodels, but 99% of the time everywhere she goes, she's the best looking person in the room.

she is actually a phenomenal actress as well. i don't love her politics, but she doesn't seem as full of herself as most.
i had previously stated i would vote for him in a runoff because of Paxton's personal affairs as much distaste as I have for Cornyn.

thanks for making me go back on my word John.

Dunkirk is good 1917 is an illusion of a technical gimmick, and its "substance" amounts to showy cameo fest.

Hot take is hot.

I like both but 1917 is a better film overall.

Dunkirk is a stitching of 10 different true(ish) stories together in one day.

1917 is one fictional story happening among 100 true ones in a single day.
I have never once in my life heard a non- profit having a “paid informant.“

TF With all the whistles and juvenile behavior of what seems to be adults

They aren’t adults. They live in a closed off world view where there are not consequences for their actions and their voting patterns have very little effect on their daily life.

Go hang out in affluent New England. All liberal but live in a world where immigration and urban crime don’t really affect them, so the rest of red America just seems like assholes for not seeing the world the same way they do.
as a Cowboys fan, Aubrey is the highlight of every game.

We get more excited about him lining up than we do a 4th and 50 from the one yard line for the Cowboys defense.

Underrated in Muppet's Treasure Island.

one of the best quotes i ever heard was that Curry acted like he was a fellow muppet in Treasure Island and Michael Caine acted like all the muppets were fellow serious actors in Christmas Carol.

And it's a true statement.

The U.S. Constitution guarantees your right to peaceful assemblage not what is glorified by the Democratic Party and the MSM. A temper tantrum doesn’t qualify as a grievance nor validation.

my co-worker from Denver is a 90s democrat but absolutely hates Trump and thinks he's a Nazi/Fascist. He's not all in on gay rights, communism, but really hates Trump.

After we were on a trip together he had a few drinks and decided he wanted to talk about this (Goode/Perreti) even though I kept shutting it down.

At the end of the day, he thought that protesting is a sacred right and no matter how threatened somebody on the other side feels, the police has no right to respond with any violence or force.

To the point where he started walking towards me and said "is this too close?" Is this too close? How about now? The police can never respond with violence to a peaceful protestor."

I said, that if that happened in any other situation, you're not going to get angry at or charge a guy with a crime when you push off when you getting in somebody's face.

I personally think protesting is stupid and mostly for low IQ people that don't have enough hobbies or too much time, but I do recognize that it is a right.

The problem is when you think your protesting allows you to inconvenience me. You get in my face OR stop me from getting somewhere or doing my job, your life is forfeit at that point.

I don't mean that in terms of I'm happy when somebody dies, it's terrible, but you've decided that your message and ideology is more important than my livelihood and I have no idea what your capable of, so I just don't care. Normally I just hope you get knocked out or go to jail, but stupid games get stupid prizes.

better video where you can see that the reporter is retreating and then pushes off the girl to separate and puts a hand up to keep distance, then college girl keeps going.

reporter covering protests has people blowing rape whistles in her ear.

she retreats and college girl continues to get in the face of the reporter that becomes a bit of a scuffle then dad shoves her.

people that blow a whistle in your ear are fair game.

Renee Goode, Alex Peretti, this are all the same.

We are going to do the most absolute a-hole behavior possible and then get mad when somebody does something about it and make ourselves the victim when we simply didn't have to be an a-hole

Having listened to Fear and Loathing, he's exceptionally kind to both sides of that conflict and honest about where they suck.

Finally got to see it. A nice mix of Interstellar, The Martian and Arrival. I get the praise for the movie, well made, no question.

And I did like it, well enough. I wasn't blown away though. Like some of the other movies above better, but it's well within their ball park.

this is my take, although i will say i enjoy this more than Arrival.

That being said, I think Arrival is a wonderful, perfectly directed, shot, and acted spectacle that makes me miserable and I leave whenever my wife puts it on.

Overall Parks and Rec is a better show than the Office. The office had better highs but if you talk consistency and characters and overall story Parks and Rec edges it out IMO.

agreed. P&Rs valley is a 70 but it's peak is a 92. Office is 40 and 100.

Also, you like everybody in Parks and Rec. Hell even Jamm gets a happy ending.

Apple is the second most profitable company in the world and he’s kept it that way.

He lost ground to NVIDIA but everybody did.

Most of the Fortune 500 companies are rounding errors to Apple.

i will alternate between this and Parks and Rec if I can't find something I want to watch.
