KC is alright, but it's a little too sweet for my liking. I like the tangier, spicier varieties.

Have you tried Slap Ya Mama?

Nah, I haven’t . I’ve seen it in the store and thought about trying it but just haven’t. I may give it a try

I nominate Williamson Bros Classic Carolina. Just tried it for the first time.

I'd agree with you if you had said Williamson Brothers Original sauce. It's far superior to the Classic Carolina.

Tony’s and Slap yo Mama are almost identical. Anyway I bought some Alabama white bbq sauce because I’ve always wanted to try it. I don’t know if it was just the brand (had a wax top like a bottle of Makers) but I did not like it way to much vinegar. Tasted like Easter egg dye.

Craig's bbq sauce from DeValls Bluff Arkansas.

Only problem is you have to buy it in the store in DeValls Bluff.

KC Joe's Night of the Living BBQ Sauce is legit if you like spicier sauces. Not sure you can find it in stores beyond regional, but can be ordered online.

The only kind of store bought white sauce that I think is edible is Big Bob Gibson's, although it is thicker than you get in most bbq shacks, including Big Bob Gibson's itself.

Cairo Bar-B-Q Sauce

Just the right amount of sweet heat.

Definitely the best sauce out there. Some other KC sauces come close but I think this one is the most widely available.

Yep, I have been using this for a long time. It's great if you like a thinner sauce with just the right combination of spices.

I wouldn't give Sweet Baby Ray's to my dog. You eat that and you get instant diabeetus.

BBQ is supposed to be vinegary, not sugary.

Sweet Baby Rays is overrated

So true.

I'm a fan of the Cattlemen's Kansas City Classic for store bought. They also have a Carolina Gold flavor that's very good.

another vote for williamson bros. original. it is great on a pulled pork. Stink though on chicken and ribs. Little place in Homerville, Ga called Richards meat sauce has best I have had for chicken.
