investing much in mauk this year won't be worth a it.. this will be printz's team next year.

mauk is a punk arse yankee daddys boy w a chicken legs and a beer belly.

printz is a quarterbacks quarterback, he's a humble southern gentleman.

I'm tellin ya'll Berk should be #2.

Mauks made about 6 turnovers in the scrimmages.

Berk can be steady, he can be like Bell at OU. Use him to bulldoze some yards. Plus, that arm.. anyone that judges him on last year is a fool.

I wish I could get on board with you, but his footwork in the pocket is absolutely horrid. It's worse than Franklins, and that's saying something.

I agree about Mauk and Printz though. If I see one more person brag on Mauks HS passing record I'm gonna puke.

Who cares.

Mauk was so amazing in high school. Have you seen his stats?

His dad coached him..

The offense threw on all 4 downs.

His older brother had the same stats, did nothing in college.

Please refrain from being uninformed.

He's cut his body fat in half.. maybe that will help his footwork and mobility.

Hard to judge his footwork from last year.. Was overweight, had no oline, and was hit on most plays.

It makes total sense to have an experienced backup that can plow for short yards who's more trustworthy when it comes to interceptions. The reason it isn't Franklin then Berk is because the public would flip their lids if that was the case. Mauk gives uneducated fans the hope that things will be different than last year.

This is something I have always been on board with. He is such a strong guy and it was a mistake to not use him in short yard situations like OU used Bell and Florida used Tebow his first season. The times against Georgia when the ball couldnt get in the endzone from the 1 or 2 yard line is a perfect example.

The one getting lost in the mix is Hosick. It really seems to me that he is the odd man out at QB at this point. But he truly seems to be a special athlete with a tremendous work ethic. I'd hate to see it go to waste. I hope someone is in his ear about the possibility of moving positions.

A Mizzou buddy of mine and I went to the ESPN Elite 11 event here in Vegas to watch Hosick when he was here.

I didn't see much that would lead me to believe he'd excel at QB in the SEC. I keep hearing about his heart and his work ethic, but I wasn't personally impressed and neither were the coaches/Trent Dilfer. He didn't make it to the final in our local event.

Hopefully there is a move in the works to keep him at Mizzou and give him a chance to really contribute, especially if Printz is the real deal.

He seems like an awesome kid and exceptional athlete. I hope something works out at Mizzou.

Sounds like Brock Olivo.

I'll take it. If he can't play QB put him on the field somewhere, he'll do good things.

And I thought it was obvious I was joking with Remote Controlled. I apologize if I really made him puke.
