On a scale of 1 to 10 how pissed will you be if our only loss is to Bama and we get left

Depends entirely on who gets in ahead of us and what the situation is. If Clemson comes back with Lawrence and beats ND and those are their only losses they’re both gonna end up ahead of us. I’d set yourself up for that right now. So assuming Bama and OSU run the table then we won’t get in. I guess I’ll be upset still but not that much because I fully expect it to happen

If BYU or some shite goes ahead of us then yes I will be livid

Outside of Cincy or BYU getting in ahead of us I won’t be mad. I expect Florida to lose to Bama. I’d be ok with a NY6 bowl and ending the season with a lot of momentum for next

If the rest of our games look like the South Carolina game... BIG MAD

If we revert back to looking like we did against Vanderbilt, or ugly our way through these games like we did Mississippi State... less mad

In addition, I would be thrilled with a 1-loss season because of what that can mean for recruiting momentum.

I'll be an 8. Family has waited so long for A&M to make that jump. Don't need to see a situation with ND and Clemson making it with A&M only having one loss.

Agreed. Could be anywhere from a 5-10 depending on what happens.

Although I’m just hoping we keep the momentum and end up in the conversation in the first place

You mad bro?

Chill.

To answer your question, 5/10. It’s 2020 in a world pandemic, nothing is going like it was expected to, so I’ve learned to just roll with the punches and move on. Won’t be the end of the world if we get left out, will still go to a good bowl and get to face a good team.

Not at all. If we go undefeated in the remaining games it will just prove the road to the playoffs goes through Alabama. Gotta take care of business in that game.

I won't be mad at all. It just means that if we can repeat that level of success in the near future, we have a better chance of breaking the glass ceiling

We will get left out for a team with more of a "name". I thought we had a chance until we lost a game off of our schedule that cannot be made up

Not very. If we had played Alabama close most of the way it would be one thing but game was over at halftime. Taking off my maroon sunglasses it's an easy argument to say we shouldn't get in over a lot of other teams when the #1 seed beat the ever living shite out of us.

What I will be pissed at is if the football gods give us the biggest middle finger of all time and we end up in a Cotton Bowl vs Texas that has to go either full on fanless or massively limited tickets b/c of COVID.

Honestly, any team that is the second team from a conference probably has a "take care of your business" thing to get over.

It depends. If Notre Dame beats Clemson again, but they still keep Clemson in the playoff, then I will be livid.

Outrageous. Preposterous. Ludicrous.

It's gross as frick but I could see it happening.

They'll be like

Yes, Clemson does have two losses and they did cancel their last game just to be safe but we believe the eye test shows they are one of the best 4 so they will be the #3 seed and face #2 Alabama while #1 Notre Dame will play #4 6-0 Ohio State.
