I closely follow football and basketball.
I catch the results of other sports, occasionally will watch postseason games/matches.

I am an alumnus.

I don't watch much other sports, other than NFL (mainly for fantasy), some NBA playoffs, some World Series, golf majors.

The alum part was to see if there was any difference in responses from alums or nonalums. That was all, no turning up the nose here.

The only one I know that just goes into threads to say how much he doesn't like other Bama sports is the guy who gets his jollies from making Bama football videos from some irrelevant year

Well,I had a little meltdown the other day on the rant about FOGs because these 2 FOG idiots I work with were rooting for Auburn and it really pissed me off.

And if anybody on the rant says"who cares at least if aint football" I'll drop a courtesy GFY

I care about basketball but I don't get overly upset about it like I do football. I'm not an alum. I went to Troy. I like other sports NBA, NFL, Formula One mainly.

I want Bama to do great in all sports. However the only two I pay actual attention to is FB and basketball. I’ve never really liked baseball in general.

USA alum

Don’t really watch the NBA but definitely a lot of the NFL including obviously the Saints.

(1) When it comes to Bama sports I'm 80% football and 20% other sports.

Generally, I never was a big fan of the game of basketball, so I'm a casual fan (I've watched a total of two games of the NCAA tournament over the last 5 years).

I check in on the other sports from time-to-time.

(2) Class of '98

(3) Grew up in Pittsburgh, so I'm a fan of all of the teams there.

If I had to give a breakdown of where my attention goes to sports it would look like this:

45% Bama football
25% Steelers
10% Penguins
10% Pirates
5% Bama Basketball
5% All of the other stuff (Tennis, F1, Soccer, Rugby, NBA, college basketball, etc.)

Makes sense. If I was doing mine it'd probably be

Bama Football 25%
Braves 25%
Bama basketball 20%
Falcons 10%
Hawks 10%
Bama Baseball 5%
Other 5% (Bama softball, Atlanta United, Bama everything else)

My problem is basketball... It's like I think this is the year.

1. Preseason I am hyped
2. Early season tournament disappointment, I say same old team
3. Early SEC play... This is the year!
4. Late SEC play... Don't deserve to be in the tournament
5. SEC tournament... We should be in!
6. NIT... Might as well watch

Pretty much. I'm glad to see when they're doing well but I can't say that I'll ever invest any significant amount of time/emotion into them.

Yes

I also like the NBA, though I tend to be pretty up and down on it. ~5 or 6 years ago it was a close second to Alabama football. That's slowly shifted to where I only loosely follow the NBA now. I've been feeling like I'll probably get back into it over the course of the playoffs though.

I follow the other sports. But they're not appointment television for me. I'll watch men's hoops or softball if I'm in the house and it's on.
College football is the best sport out there.
