re: Can a dude drive a Honda CRV?

I drive a 2012 CRV. It's ugly, but reliable. It's under powered & really needs a V6. But it's financially practical at this time in my life & my priorities are different than most.

This month I bought $20k of VOO at $463. I wouldn't have been able to do that driving a nice, $60k vehicle. That day's coming though, where I quit sacrificing my wants & will be driving what I want. But not yet.

And honestly, I don't care what any la femme Euro man near me thinks about what I drive. Nor will I care, when that day comes, what some broke redneck thinks about what I drive either.
Watching the draft on TV is stupid. Team picks a LB from North Texas, then the camera pans over to a bunch of yankee forklift drivers in jerseys cheering a player they'd never heard of ten seconds prior.
No restaurant suggestions, but we went to Lyon a couple of years ago & EVERYONE was great. The people were incredibly friendly & helpful. I don't speak a lick of French & had no problems whatsoever. It's a nice place for a two day visit.

I am not so sure we will not be in same position in the future.

I think one difference is that the Europeans don't have enough physical space to get away since they're largely crammed into cities & dumpy apartments. They're forced to interact with these sub-humans.

At least in the U.S. there's still room to move.

If we land late, and someone behind me has a tight connection, then of course I'll oblige. If we're early or on time, I'm standing in the aisle & letting the people in my row out first.
