He had a bad fame against Georgia. It happens.

If true he probably made a good decision. Get money while you can

Tua is projected as a number 1 draft pick for a reason. The nitpicking is crazy.
re: Is an Auburn move to the SEC East imminent?

Not our fault they suck.

For a bad coach he has had the most success of any coach against us.

I wish I understood the strategy of football better.

Good article.
The championship game was just a perfect storm coming together. We got punched in the mouth early and we never really regained our composure imo. It happens in college football. I don't think it would happen the same way this year.
I'm not worried about the offense at all. It's the secondary and pass rush that concerns me. We haven't been able to get consistent pressure on passing downs in a few seasons. CBs in college just aren't talented enough to cover 3+ seconds consistently.

Tua is that good. Dad would gave taken his kids to whatever program allowed him access
re: How many people here truly only care about Alabama football?
Posted by Bamaorbust on 4/16/19 at 10:05 pm
I care about basketball but I don't get overly upset about it like I do football. I'm not an alum. I went to Troy. I like other sports NBA, NFL, Formula One mainly.

re: Interesting interview with Saban re: leaving early

An insurance policy payout for a projected second round safety isn't going to be that much. Dude gambled on taking the money now. If he came back and tore his knee up severely he would have to fall back on a million dollar insurance policy and being a PE teacher. I don't know his situation so I can't judge and he's still a multimillionaire so it's not like he is poor
re: Bruce Pearl really did break the alabama fanbase

Yeah well we will be in the playoffs again in football so.... Who cares?

I'm on the Lane Kiffen train. I'll die on that hill
re: Off Topic: Republican Bama fans - would you vote for Tubberville in the Senate primary?

Frick no.

A few days too late. We are getting 6-10 inches today in Minneapolis.
re: Ronnie Harrison disses Coach Saban

I think Saban dissed Ronnie first. I don't know why Saban thinks taking a shot at a former player I'd a good idea? Makes him look petty
re: Official Birmingham Iron/AAF thread.
Posted by Bamaorbust on 4/4/19 at 1:27 pm
The union didn't do anything wrong. The AAF failed because it was undercapitalized. It looks like they ran out of money after week 1 and would of folded if not for dude coming to the rescue. They then bled 70 million in 6 weeks somehow. The league never had a chance imo. The players union stuff is a smokescreen.

Eh no one will remember this come September
re: Alabama's Out Of State Recruitment Criticized
Posted by Bamaorbust on 4/1/19 at 12:52 pm
I agree with the study. Alabama is a state school. It should be their to benefit the citizens of our state. Most of those out of state kids are on scholarship. That's money taken directly from the taxpayers intended to benefit our residents. It's no secret the public schools in Alabama suck but that's a problem the state Universities should be working to address. Instead they just recruit kids from richer states with better public education

Well Petty is definitely gone and Lewis is likely gone. So we are going to be a 10 win team next season
