How many people here truly only care about Alabama football?

(1) Do you only care about Alabama football and really not care at all about other sports that Alabama competes in?

(2) If the answer to #1 is yes, are you an alum of Alabama?

(3) If the answer to #1 is yes, do you like other sports professionally or do you just only like football?

College football is the sport I care about really, but I'll pretty much watch and cheer for Alabama in anything/everything. I don't follow them closely or anything though, but I keep general tabs on things.

For example: I didn't watch the NCAA tourney at all. I don't fill out brackets, I don't do any of that. But if Alabama made it - I would have watched their games.

Same for even games on TV. If it's Kentucky vs Duke or whoever it is that's hot these days, I'm not going to watch. But if it's Alabama vs anyone, I'll probably watch. Baseball/Softball I have the hardest time watching, it would have be a big game, but then I'm in.

I also cut off live TV this year after football season ended and won't turn it back on until college football season. And I'll watch more than just Alabama when ti comes to college football. I'll watch every single game I can for the most part, and I'll probably watch Alabama 2 or 3 times if we won.

I'm not an alum. I also don't give a shite who likes it, I'm not a fan for recognition.

Football and basketball are the only two college sports I'll watch if Alabama isn't involved, but I try to keep up with most of our teams the best I can.

I actually like basketball better than football. Sacrilege I know, but it is what it is.

I love football and baseball. College professional or little league. I dislike basketball college, professional, or little league.

I never liked baseball, and though I enjoyed competing in track and field, I never was a "fan". I like playing golf and tennis, but not watching or following it. The other sports I never watched or followed. Never liked soccer either.

I grew up being a huge NBA fan, particularly the Los Angeles Lakers, and was a devoted UA basketball fan. I haven't been much of a basketball fan at all the last 15 years or so, but for some reason, Oats has me kind of excited and I look forward to next season, though I don't expect a hell of a lot the first year.

Likewise, I used to be a NFL fan, but not anymore. I don't even watch Super Bowl games.

College football, though, was always my favorite sport, since I was a kid. Now, though, I am not wild about college football. I'm just a UA football fan. I think it was the ncaa investigations, and how UA was singled out for the Albert Means situation. Rival fans truly wanted Alabama to go down hard, so screw them and their teams and Roll Tide Roll.

I care about all Alabama sports and watch as many in person and on television as possible, but losing a game in football is the only one that makes me want to throw my remote through the television.

I root for Alabama in everything and hope we do well in every sport. The main three I follow closely are football, basketball, and baseball.

I am an alumnus.

Diehard Football and Basketball fan. But the Baseball team has to be at least as good as they are this year to get me interested. The baseball team has to compete with the Cardinals who are my only pro-team

I only follow Alabama football. Mainly because I'm a UAH graduate, not UAT (where's my Chargers logo Chicken?). We don't have football, we have hockey. I've been a Bama football fan since middle school though.

Don't really watch any other pro sports either. I've been to a few Carolina Panthers games which was fun, but just can't seem to get in to the NFL.

These are most of the positions I hear from my friends and family.

I was just trying to figure out if there are truly large segments of the fanbase that have absolutely zero interest in any other sports to the point of being hostile about them being discussed like some on this website. I never thought so, but it got me wondering.

I care about football and basketball, I am not really a baseball fan at any level, college or pro. I do keep up a little with the softball team.

But, as for most people, football is #1 over any other sports.

I get a little hostile with the FOG. I dont hate FOG, just boosters that are FOGs....and those who openly root for our rivals because they dont care about any other sport.

I'm an alumnus of UA and I care about all of our sports. I want years of success like 2012 with Natty's in football, golf mens and womens, softball, etc. I want baseball going to Omaha and I want basketball playing into late March each year. I'm not a FOG.

As far as UA athletics, basketball is my #1, football #2. I want the other sports to do as good as they can, but I'm not going to watch them or give them money.

I watch other professional sports, but UA doesn't have NCAA men's teams in those sports.

I do. Assuming you're talking about the people who only care about football and literally see the mere existence of other sports as a negative. Those people can frick off.

Mostly football. I remain peripherally aware of other Bama sports but cannot claim to be truly engaged.

Class of '98.

Alabama football first. I'll pay attention to Bama players' performance in the NFL, but I rarely watch NFL games. Mostly Saints, but pretty rare these days.
