I just read a report that OU top target is Kliff Kingsbury. Would link but it’s on Facebook so no link.
Seeing a loooong list of people that supposedly OU is looking at. I hope Kiff is just a smoke screen. Don't want him, or Brent V, or Mark S. And most Sooners feel the same

LR may be the most sensitive coach to not hurt anyone's feelings there is in big time football.
Something happened about the Baylor game and he checked out. He wasn't even trying. You could see the stress. Then:
No show to press conference 2 weeks ago.
No show for Coach's show.
No show to tell players goodbye.
The players all found out via media.
He was going to go. He really feels that he fits the Cali type of life, more than LSU. Defenses figured out, take away the long ball and force him to run and it is not his game.
He better knock it out of the park with that USC rebuild. sounds like he's not making a lot of friends.

That was Bob Stoops problem too but you all love him?

Teddy Lehman, a former linebacker at OU and color analyst has shot that down with a tweet. I don’t have twitter so there’s that.

Stoops handed him a playoff caliber OU team in 2017 with great recruiting classes and he goes and does this.
Stoops handed off because he got caught covering up the Joe Mixon tape
stop trying to make it sound better

Some loyalty huh? Even OU gets the shaft every once in a while. Maybe Jimbo will come your way.

Since OU started playing football, well before statehood, no head football coach has ever left OU for another school.

OU knew exactly what they had, and they were willing to let him go.

Just a suggestion friend, might I suggest a head coach with SEC experience, potentially low buy out, and known as an offense genius?

Writing on the wall. He was relatively struggling in a dying conf, what do you think was going to happen in this league.

Simply untrue. Jim Tatum left for Maryland.

OK. You are right. Forgot Jim's one year as coach
What we are hearing now, would be the same reason he did not want to go to LSU. Supposedly the OU President and OU AD wanted the move to the SEC, and LR did not.
LR had a meeting with demands for him to stay and it was countered with demands for him to do certian things, if OU met his demands. We were hearing "infrastructure" was an impass last week.
LR likes to be every player and player's family to be best friends. Making tough decisions have always been hard on him. He is brilliant, with a near photographic memory. But he is soft. Name one big time coach he has outcoached in a game, as a head coach the last three years.

Any coach that has taken the USC job has failed…football is dead in the PAC-12…won’t be long before the socialists that run California outlaw high school football all together. LMAO at LR…he screwed himself.
