With Ohio St. passing us, seems like Atlanta will be a must win for the playoff

I feel like this was always pretty clear. If we don't beat Georgia, we don't belong in the playoffs imo.

If Oklahoma and OSU win one and lose one we are back in.

Don't deserve to be but it is what it is

With Cincinnati and Notre Dame floating around, a 2 loss Alabama team is not going anywhere

If we can't beat Georgia don't deserve to be there. Not like we have been some unstoppable machine

Nobody has. I think Auburn had the best case a few years.

Allthatfades, I'd like you meet Pete Golding. He coaches our defense.

The Sugar Bowl is SEC vs Big 12 in non playoff years.

If it comes down to 11-2 Bama vs 11-1 ND for the final spot, Bama will get in. Can't penalize Bama for having to play in a conference championship game and ND not.

You're right, but are people truly worried about Auburn? With their second string QB no less? I feel like the game won't be close.

If the goal is to make the playoff, it became necessary to win out the day we lost to TAMU.

Even though, I have no faith in Harbaugh and damn sure wouldn't bet on it, I really have this gut feeling that Ohio State is gonna shite the bed against Michigan,, especially after beating such an incredibly overrated team so badly. Also, Law of Averages says they are well past due. And unlike other years when officials screwed bad Michigan teams to get Ohio State in the playoff, Michigan winning means they have a great shot to the make the playoff this year.

Michigan's backup QB got some reps last week and he's a slippery runner while the starter is a decent but not amazing passer. I think that the backup QB for Michigan and Ohio State feeling themselves too much lead to the upset.

Probably, but still too many variables at this point. Crazy shite can happen. Multiple big games left in both big10 and big12. How do we lose (do we lose by 3 on a questionable call or do we lose by 28).

Eta: Hell, Cincinnati still has (based on their schedule) tougher games left.

Eta2: I of course want to win out, but if we lost to uga I’d still want to go to the playoffs if we could. Gotta be in it to win it (anything can happen in a given game).

Harbaugh is never going to get the job done versus Ohio State

Michigan are awful....who have they beaten that is a good win? Wisconsin? Penn State? They lost to the only ranked opponent they played. Its typical over ranking of B10 teams that they are at 5. I fully expect OSU to put the same smack down on them or worse than the one MSU received

It’s been pretty clear. Of course other upsets could change that but, we are basically Caesar at the Battle of Pharsalus. If we lose we all “die”.
