Archie was incredible in college. The original JFF. He was a better version of Fran Tarkenton. He didn't have a lot of talent around him in either college or the NFL. He would be an absolute superstar in todays game.

The Logic that just because Peyton and Eli panned out that Arch will also is laughable.

Pretty much just ran for his life his entire career. He really was something.

They are are a recruited up private not as bad as John Curtis. The Mannings had a transfer living with them 4 star WR then something went south and he got kicked out of school

I’m not arguing that. But for people to say Eli and Peyton were overrated because they didn’t win a title in high school is laughable. Calling Archie the most overrated QB of all-time is, likewise, laughable. I haven’t said anything about Arch. Time will tell if he becomes a good college and/or professional QB

Arch is not good at football. Kind of like Malik this year who can play seven on seven but not actual football. Hope the kid goes to Texas. He will fit right in with the rest of those overrated pussies

Or you hold his time at the Saints against him
I mean he threw like 180 interceptions compared to 125 Tds in his pro career. He wasn’t good
His sons were though

Since 2003, they’ve had 8 total players go D1. That’s not even in the same universe as private schools who recruit a lot. Putting them in the same sentence with John Curtis us hilarious. Hell, I went to a small private high school in Tennessee that recruits and we’ve done better than that

I remember when a 2A school from new orleans went to hoover and kicked their arse back when hoover was supposedly some national powerhouse alabama 6A program. Joe mcknight is still running.

Well then, please allow me to take my snark back.
At least I said Marvel Comics - not that stupid DC Comics crap. Really ... who want's to spend a buck to see Aquaman ?
Unless you got the GI Combat mag from DC. That shite really was worth a buck. The Haunted Tank, Sgt. Rock, and The Unknown Soldier all in one issue.

John Curtis recruits like crazy. They had to forfeit a bunch of games and 1 state title because of recruiting. I looked it up Hoover has a winning record vs Louisiana.

I haven't watched him at all and really don't care where he goes, but given that he is a Manning my guess is that he is receiving every benefit of the doubt

If he does go to Texas he will make Chris Sims look like he should have won the Heisman twice

Archie was about the 4th best qb in that era of SEC football.
Dude was legit
should have been mvp of the hula bowl but they gave it to Plunkett because of his Native American roots.
Had he been drafted by Dallas or Oakland his MFL legacy would be quite different.

And bunch of pussies in this thread who wouldn't know how to judge talent to save their grandma
