He can't build a resume if nobody gives him a chance. Presumably the head coach must have seen something he liked.

Who is Miss direction? What position does she play?

Good one! Two spelling errors: "went" and "serious." Try "seriously." It's an adverb!
Gee, if we only had coaches!

It DOESN'T apply out in the real world, where organizations can (and should) make decisions based on far less than a conviction, which can takes (sic) years.
That was my point! Organizations can make whatever decisions they want without giving a damn whether they're right or wrong, fair or not. I'm not trying to defend Miles, because I have no clue what he did or didn't know, but too many people are blindly willing to conclude that an institution like the NCAA, with its impeccable reputation for integrity, must have known what it was doing and blame it on Miles. Again, where's the proof that he knew about it?

I don't remember ever seeing or hearing of any proof or testimony that Miles or anyone else at LSU knew about it or had any way to know. Was it possible? Sure. Was it likely? Where's the proof?
Guilty until proven innocent, right?

You missed the point. He didn't mean we would get a lot of 2nd and 10s. He meant we will see what happens when we do. In other words, how is his play-calling in situations when we're behind the chains.
I'm not overly familiar with behind-the-scenes baseball. Do pitch counts adjust for bull pen warm-ups? What about tosses from the mound before the other team comes to bat?
Seems to me, it could be pretty ambiguous.

How many collision injuries have there been in a century plus? Maybe you should watch football!

He won't learn anything until he kills somebody, and maybe not then.

I read today that Van Horn thought maybe the SS thought he was too far to his right to make the DP so took the lead runner. (Too far to get the ball to second and then to first in time) I'm not a baseball guy or saying he was right or wrong - just what I read.
