Ole Miss fans, surely Arkansas was the only game Matt Corral had 6 turnovers...

There's no way a Bo Pelini defense caused 5 interceptions from this highly touted quarterback along with a game sealing fumble to give LSU a win

Also it's truly a shame Mr. 308 yards doesn't get to make his reappearance this week. Ole Miss fans can rejoice knowing they are safe from the crimes he would commit on this defense.

Did you see what he did to Arkansas in 2021?

At least you can lean on last year when you’re crying in your bourbon tomorrow. I love your glass-half-full outlook on life.

So let me get this straight. Last year was an asterisk for Alabama, but when LSU did something good, last year counts? You LSU fans need to make up your minds. You don’t get both.

Of course we do, there's a gif dedicated to it.

Plus, we have 2 months of a coaching search to endure, we need to distract ourselves every once in a while and our team's record ain't going to cut it.

If KJ outplayed him then Arkansas would have won and KJ would have the heisman talk around him.

There’s a reason that none of the talking heads outside of Arkansas mentioned KJs performance.

25/35 326yds 3td 1int
20-85yds 3td 1fum

14/21 287yds 2td
15-94yds 2td

Football is a team sport and neither defense decided to show up that day but to say Jefferson didn’t outplay Corral is proven by the stats listed above

Jefferson was a warrior against the Rebs. Good QB.

Total points by quarter:
1st - 7 (wut)
2nd - 28
3rd - 27
4th - 41 (wut)

QBR for that game:
Jefferson: 80.0
Corral: 96.4

Stats don't lie.

KJ played a great game. Corral played a nearly perfect one. No shame in either that day.

Something Arkansas fans don't seem to grasp about Corral's performance that day is that their gameplan was to let anyone else beat them but to keep Corral contained. That's why Ole Miss had 2 RBs go for over 100 yards. Even against a gameplan designed to prevent him from beating Arkansas, he had nearly 400 yards of total offense, 4 TDs, and most importantly, 0 turnovers.

You could have said yes, KJ had a great game but we won. Instead you shriveled up. Saying that Corral has had a great season but was matched by another QB would not have cast shame on Corral and Ole Miss.

You do your team and your QB a disservice here. It is not your shining moment of glory I fear.

Lost in the stats are the fact Corral picked up 6 first downs on either 3rd or 4th down throughout the game (three with his legs and three with his arms).

Surely Arkansas beat a team that bad this year. Right?
