Former Jacksonville State defensive tackle Chris Hardie announced his commitment to Ole Miss over the weekend. Per SI.com:

quote:

Hardie suited up for the Jacksonville State Gamecocks for four seasons, but the 2023 campaign was his most productive as he racked up 60 total tackles (33 solo), 8.5 sacks and one interception. These numbers were good enough to earn him First-Team All-Conference USA honors last year, and it was also Jacksonville State's first year at the FBS level.

They have not won the SEC since 1963 and never made it to Championship game, they are putting it ALL into this year and because it is Ole Miss, they will fail again. NO SEC team other than vandy has been this irrelevant since the 1960s, period
