There is only one. Soon there will be two.
Blueblood = old money.
There is only five is the entire country. Bama, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, USC
Talking football.

Alabama and Oklahoma are the remaining bluebloods. Texas used to be. Tennessee was on the fringe back in the day
Obviously assuming that OU and Texas to the SEC is a done deal

The only true blue bloods are horseshoe crabs. Everyone else is a fake.

One of these should have an asterisk for being the biggest cheaters in sports history.
Hint: it's not the team that wears crimson

I dunno. They may have the win total and longevity but never thought of them as Blue Blood. Maybe just perception and the fact they have been close to winning Championship so many times but always seem to fizzle out in final game.

Blueblood is more than money. Time-tested is accurate too.
SEC Blue Bloods? Bama, LSU, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, hell---any of the original members!

used to be what?
This myth of Texas ever being a blue-blood has always baffled me. 2 Nattys in their history? Come’ on, man. And Dick Nixon had to give them one of those.
TU is UGA with cash.

You’re an idiot. Texas was a blue blood although I would agree that until we correct our current course that title is teetering. It’s four national championships, fourth in all time wins and sixth in all time winning percentage.
Should have had a few more titles certainly.
My take:
Alabama
Notre Dame
Ohio State
Oklahoma
Are but trending away from it -
Texas
Michigan
USC
Nebraska had an unbelievable three decade run or so - not sure how they fit in.
LSU, Florida, Miami - great programs with multiple titles but don’t have the depth of history and prestige, etc.
