Their legislature doesnt meet in a regular session until 2 years from now (they just met). The horns governor would have to insert himself into the issue and place it as an item in their special session or call a new one. Ohhh and they can’t get a quorum with the dems in DC and even if they could the horns speaker of the house would slow walk it to death. It isn’t happening!

When the big 12 was created, baylor and tech had the governor, lt governor, and either speaker or president (forgot which).

Isn't the TX legislature in DC spreading the Delta Delta Delta variant of the China flu?

And just as your Former Governor Perry, an Aggie Alum said he would let you all go to the SEC, Your current Governor Abbott, a Texas alum is going to let them go to the SEC.

Baylor likes to litigate itself into some form of relevance… even if only for a month or so.

If Baylor and Tech can block this move then Every fan of an SEC school should call both schools and thank them for keeping that bunch of arrogant windbags out of our conference.

I’m sure Texas never considered this possibility nor thought to have a contingency in place…I’m sure. Way bigger problems for the government to deal with compared to a university changing conferences.
