Let'm in. The conference only gets stronger. I'd like to play OU every year. They are a great program with rich history. TX is fine as long as the toe the line. I think it would be a bad move for TX as they will face tougher teams in the SEC.

I'll take them. They fit better with us geographically and we've never come together as a fanbase to hate anyone with the passion we hate Texas. They are coming to Fayetteville this year for a long overdue owed game and the only way to get those are to buy at least mini-packages for other games because for some fans, it's a bigger deal than the SEC home games. And for a change, TX can come or go and the conference won't bend to their whims so their power is reduced so I'd roll the dice and let them in.

It’ll be fun to play Texas (most likely) every year again

I’ve gone back and forth on this. People say it would kill our Texas recruiting even further but Texas and OU win 3/4 recruiting battles against us already anyway. And if the Big 12 blows up we could take the best players that Oklahoma State, TCU and Baylor type programs are getting now. If anything I think A&M might be hurt by it the most.

Bottom line for us though is we just need to get better regardless if they’re in the conference or not so I’m not sure it matters. It would be nice to have another historical rival in the conference who we can kind of share a history with. I feel bad for the lower half of the conference teams though because they’ll be getting zero airtime on the SEC network if this happens, just not enough time to equally cover all 16 teams.

Texas can frick off.

And since Oklahoma's permanently attached to Whorn dick, they're gone too.

I’m fine with adding them.

I think if it goes pods, you put A&M, Texas, Mizzou and Arky in a pod. Texas would hate that. Hate it.

I’m so back and forth on this. Idk what to believe.

My gut tells me to tell Texas to go EAD and GFY. They kill everything they touch.

On the other hand, it might help not playing Bama every year, and these regional opponents will help.

NO

Texas is a massive reason why we left the Big 12…I cannot believe we’re facing the possibility of those frickers being in our conference again. I really really really hope this doesn’t happen. frick Texas.

ofc yes but lets try and make texas a jr member

but also, caveat: Let's make sure these are the two best possible teams to add. I.E, the most money.

I'd have no problem with OU, but frick Texas. I would personally rather add two ACC schools, but I have been a fan of the pod system for a long time and will be better able to play all the other schools on a shorter rotation.

No issues with OU. Texas, well, I want them put in the most impossible division/pod/etc.

Is there a way to create a Bama/Texas/Bama/Bama pod for just Texas in football with crossovers with OU and Georgia?

They talked a lot of shite when we left. Their AD took some shots at Mizzou when we came to the SEC.

So, I would hold my nose at Texas, but probably be ok with it. We recruited well in Texas in the Big12.

Side note: it makes me laugh thinking of kansas out there twisting in the wind right now.

Let them in. I would much rather play OU and Texas every year instead of Miss State, Kentucky, SCAR, etc.

Nothing against those schools, but Norman is 3 hours away and everyone knows our history with Texas.

Arkansas has no history with OU. Sorry.

We've never been in a league with OU**. We rarely play OU, and almost always in a random bowl game every 10-12 years.

Texas, don't care. Bring it.

**I just hate their fans, because we interact with all the E. Oklahoma trash people.

Austin, OKC and Tulsa would instantly be some of the nicer big towns in the league. Sorry, its true.
