Hell, we won two more with Les Miles and Ed Orgeron.

This is a good point.

Figure LSU wins in 2011 with Saban. That gets you to three.

Saban being Saban probably would've put LSU in position to play for at least 2 to 3 more titles and he probably wins one or two of those.

So I could easily argue that he would've won 4 more titles at LSU.

I think the real question is who would Bama have hired if Saban had never left LSU.

But this is all hypothetical bullshite but then again so is the OP so it's the right place for it.

I wonder if Vegas has odds on what year Saban hangs it up. They could probably rake in a lot of money on that.

Does Georgia have boosters that own car dealerships and who are willing to give away free cars to players? If so, then maybe.

Before I get accused of bias and Charger conspiracy theories, Saban absolutely did the same at LSU. I remember seeing convoys of Escalades full of football players my first couple years at LSU.

Plus, BAMA has won several National Championships with other coaches besides Bear and Saban. Your opinion is the one void of facts, data, or legitimate information.

But only one outside of Bear/Saban since World War II.

I love fanboys who manipulate stats to fit their narrative. Just remember now son, we have to use the same stipulations on all schools that we use on Alabama. Good luck.

Ok I'll bite... I like speculative threads etc... This might upset some, don't really care, but IMO Saban would have done just as well at UGA as he has at Bama..

Alabama is head and shoulders above UGA relative to tradition, championships, star power etc. But Georgia produces much more instate talent... No other major program to compete with... Beautiful campus, facilities, resources, top notch education etc...

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Saban to a UGA, Florida or even back at LSU would be a nightmare for the rest of us...

And the "us" would have been a considerably smaller and exponentially quieter fan base.

the realistic desire and expectations to win that are unmatched at any program in the country. It is truly a birthright among Alabama fans.

that realistic desire and birthright didnt mean shite when you were shuffling through coaches before nick got there.

now to answer your question, it depends. Does UGA give him the same resources Bama does? Because Bama, starting when Nick got there, has given him unprecedented support. UGA has a history with Mark Richt of being cheapo fricks.

But make no mistake about it, Nick Saban is the best coach in CFB history and he didnt suddenly become that because he went to Bama. Did he leave the NFL a much better coach than he was at LSU....there is no doubt about it. And he would win a ton of championships at plenty of other places if they gave him the same type of support Bama has, but honestly very very few schools are willing to give that kidn fo support.

look at what he did with LSU.

Can you imagine what would have happened had he stayed?

The only program Saban would have won six titles is Alabama. The right coach, the right program, at the right time. He would have won some at others, but not six.

LOL. ROFL.

Georgia football is and always has been better than Alabama. UGA has more other schools coming into its state for recruits that it has to fight for itself than other schools coming into Alabama.

Would Saban have won more at LSU had he stayed? No one knows and no one knows if he would've won more at UGA or not. Basically, a stupid question.

You lost any and all credibility with that statement...

Great point and you have to have a "all in" administration with a open checkbook to achieve what Saban did at Bama and it neither was the case at UGA when CMR was there.

If Saban had stayed in Baton Rouge, the REC in Birmingham would've framed him, just like they're doing to Coach O right now. That's probably the real reason why he went to the NFL after winning a title.

In the SEC alone.
Bama
Florida
LSU
UGA
He could have the same success at any of those universities.
Other places he could do the same would be:
USC
Notre Dame
OSU

6 titles is not Bama exclusive.

Except that it's BAMA exclusive.

Y'all what if and hem and haw about stuff like this, but none of your schools have done it once. BAMA has done it twice.

I don't care who started it.

It's the same as saying UF, or Arky, or whomever has every chance to be as dominant as UK in basketball. It's not realistic. It's never happened before, and it never will happen.
