Prepare yourself for the "WeLl AcKsHuAlLy" crowd on here after posting that.

I think we've upgraded at 2-guard, so I'm not going to waste the energy to defend a man not enrolled at Alabama anymore. Best of luck to Rylan. I hope he's read up on how to respond to choke hazards for the sake of his head coach.

I wish Rylan the best but for me he was Jeckel and Hyde.
I'm not speaking on his defense but offense. He had some hot nights from three.
I think it was the Florida game or maybe Tennessee that two crucial possessions in a row he dribbled down and took two horrible threes that where not even close. That ended any chance. Trying to be the man and no team ball. I was pretty upset with him at that time but he made up for it during the tournament.
To be able to hit that many threes in some games. He had shots he took this year that weren't even close to going in.
I'm excited for another player to get his opportunity. With more consistency hopefully. If he can develop consistency no telling how high he can go.
Also mostly a lurker but I think there's lots of us who check about basketball daily even though football is king.

Any updates on if Omoruyi is actually visiting this weekend?

I have been a Bama sports fan for coming up on 60 years and really enjoy football but it always has been and always will be the preseason warm up for Basketball.

He was a good player with massive games in arguably the 2 biggest wins in Bama history. Like JQ, it’s hard for me to hate guys that contributed to the best seasons I’ve ever witnessed

Deadline for entering the NBA draft process is tomorrow but we could potentially not know about Sears and Nelson until the draft withdrawal deadline on May 29 right? Makes things tricky with adding/not adding replacements for the next month.

During the offseason. By the middle of conference play I was just tapped out because of them. They have mercifully disappeared and it's back to the usual suspects now
Game threads were particularly bad. Hell, trying to watch games with family members was painful.

That's like being the smartest kid on the short bus (ncaa tournament defense does not apply).

I've done well to most just not post if my thoughts are overwhelmingly negative. You're not required to post.

I don't think I've seen Nelson put his name in the draft. I'm about certain i couldn't have missed that.

True for Sears.
Nelson has yet to declare, so if he doesn't before midnight tomorrow he will be playing college basketball next year. Unless he opts to play overseas like Terrance Ferguson or pulls a MarJon Beauchamp and takes a year off from playing so he can train for the NBA Draft.
Which makes me think. We could probably fill a strong roster full of guys from the last 10 years that we were this close to landing that would have been major recruiting coups for us at the time. I'm sure I missed some too:
Terrance Ferguson
MarJon Beauchamp
Daishen Nix
Jared Butler
Nick Smith
Jarace Walker
Caleb Houstan
Drew Timme

I don't really quite understand why, but I still get irrationally irritated that we didn't sign Keenan Allen (football) and T-Ferg.
Can't explain it.

Keenan Allen was his own doing. He wanted to be under thrown by his shitty brother and constantly lose at Cal.
It did prepare him for the NFL though as he also has done nothing but lose with the Chargers.
