* 13 of Saban's 14 recruiting classes in the top 5, including a 6 year stretch at #1.
* Saban is 23-0 against former assistants.
* Alabama is 95-0 against unranked teams under Saban, 63-17 against ranked teams and 7-3 against #1 ranked teams.
* Alabama hasn't lost to an SEC East team in a DECADE.

When you post armed with facts, not envy, it doesn't take long to realize the REAL reasons behind Alabama's success.

This can’t be it. The Tiger Rant told me that recruiting rankings don’t matter and close games with Ole Miss are expected regardless of recruiting.

This season is an asterisk. Basically scrimmage games. Congrats on another fake Bama “championship”.

4-6 UL-Monroe was not ranked, but why let facts get in the way of a great post? I mean, it’s not like Alabama REALLY got beat, they beat themselves, right? It’s not like Saban referred to that game as the Tide’s 9/11 or Pearl Harbor moment, right?

98-0, is the current streak since a loss in 2007.

Alabama fans can’t type out a complete thought without inexplicably rattling off stats about Saban being good.

First bullet point is a reason... the other points are results not reasons... perhaps scheme... committing to a spread/wide open offense six or eight years ago... letting coaches and coordinators do their job... effective analysts... really effective film study and tendency identification... LSU/Georgia/Florida. Are all reducing some of these advantages... Bama gets more NFL juniors to come back... the Bama Oline is completely dominant. Jones never gets touched.

Not trolling, the real reason is how saban recruits the trenches. Even when he was at LSU he signed offensive and defensive lineman in great quantity and quality. This is how you build a great football team. Even now I see o falling into the same old les miles trap, tons of 5 star receivers and rbs, 3 3 star lineman per class. There is a ceiling on that
