Hands down the best player in college football. Hands down in my book should be the front runner for the heisman trophy.
We’ve all seen great WR’s but I don’t think I’ve seen one of his caliber sense Randy Moss.
The only difference between the two is size. Other than than they both have the same athleticism.
He’s earned the trip to New York.

His pure WR skills are absolutely insane. His body fluidity and ability to manipulate defenders with his movements is incredible.

I loved how he stared down Baker, after Baker missed his block.

I would have stared his arse down, too. Baker almost got Smith killed. Baker just stared at the Auburn defender as he creamed him.

He's amazing. Such a great competitor. His running motion is so efficient and effortless. He looks like a gliding whitetail out there. Really cool to watch.

He’s the most clutch receiver I have ever seen at Bama in my lifetime. He’s a nightmare for every defense.

I don't know if just me but he glides so smooth. It looks like he is not even trying to run fast but he separates from the db's.

My favorite WR Bama has ever had

He's good, but Amari Cooper was even better.

He's a rare breed for a receiver. Silky smooth and just makes it look easy. But that man is 100% junkyard dog and P4P one of the toughest players to ever play at Alabama.

Cooper was better in my opinion but smith has been a stud. Cooper did it with Blake sims as his QB and had identical stats to what Devonta has now through 8 SEC games...

not arguing with you but that would mean he wouldn't have played Aub/LSU or MSU yet. Cooper didn't really ever struggle though in big games.
Both were great, Lucky to have them.

The Grizzled Veteran version of DeVonta Smith absolutely makes the All-Saban team. So fun to watch.

I like Devonta Smith
We should get another one

I mean, can we just get an all-Alabama lineup for the Heisman?
Mac, Najee, and Smitty all deserve a trip to NYC. Heck, maybe even Dickerson.

He reminds me of Jerry Rice in his fluid route running. One of the best we have had.

Guys like Devonta Smith will never be heard over the constant pounding of the QB propaganda machine.

Cooper was bigger and ran slightly better routes, I think Smitty has better hands. Smitty makes the game look absolutely easy at times and doesn’t look like he is trying, which is insane.

I'm too lazy to research but I wonder how many actual drops (his fault) he has had compared to catches...I bet his drop rate is less than 5% for his career.

Smith should be the Heisman front runner, no question.
Cooper was bigger, stronger, and faster than Smith. However, Smith definitely has the better hands. To even be in the conversation with Cooper is a testament of how good Smitty is.
