not really, it was a conference wide vote and I think only 3 teams voted against

As to the OP, I'd assume this has to do with the two rivalry games and when they are to be played

Bama does more bitching about schedules than LSU does. It's the reason we're all stuck with the permanent cross division rivals. Bama would rather see CFB end entirely than give up its built-in win against UT.

I know they made it look easy last season, but LSU had one of the toughest schedules and I don’t remember anybody “raising Cain”

My guess is they went with next 2 rotational opponents and for us that's Kenutcky and Tennessee, for Bama, one of them is @ Florida, so yeah, naturally Nick would bitch about that

Teams bitching about their additional 2 opponents is pretty ridiculous. It doesn't matter who you get this year. The whole season is going to be different so who really cares.

In the middle of a pandemic and coaches are worked up over opponents in a year we may or may not even have a playoff or finish the season. Rich.

If they are all whining, then it is probably fair.

Would expect next week for the league to unveil full schedules on the SEC Network, as the Big Ten and ACC did.

The Big Ten and ACC unveiled full schedules on the SEC Network? Weird.

Neal McCready the ole miss Rivals guy said on a podcast Thursday night that the SEC schedule was supposed to be released this past Tuesday but several schools were not happy. He mentioned Florida, Georgia, Alabama and maybe Auburn are pushing back on their schedule. Sankey is just a puppet.

Notice how you don't see A&M listed. We aint never scared.

Without Bama, the SEC still has 6 National Championships this century, which would be the most of any conference

You Gumps like to think that, but when you consider that the SEC began it's current national championship dominance during a period of time when Bama was completely irrelevant, you know it is a fallacy.

It’s always Bama, they bitch about everything.

Gotta admit, I'm jealous their bitching is normally listened to by the league office

I bet Florida is complaining about playing UT in Knoxville in December.

As a UT fan...I've always hated playing Florida in the front part of the schedule (UT opens with Florida now). We play them in hot weather regardless of location when that happens. I'd love to play Florida in Knoxville in December rather than September.

The sooner the rest of the conference realize that Bama and Florida run this conference the better off the rest of you will be.

Notice that all the schedule bitching tends to revolve around teams in the west (and Tennessee) not wanting to play against Florida?

LSU should be complaining as Alabama always gets the easiest schedule bar none. Looks like their push back will keep them from fla or ga. Ala bitching is why LSU stuck wit Fla while they play Tenn yearly. I say move the SEC office out of Birmingham.
