Neal McCready the ole miss Rivals guy said on a podcast Thursday night that the SEC schedule was supposed to be released this past Tuesday but several schools were not happy. He mentioned Florida, Georgia, Alabama and maybe Auburn are pushing back on their schedule. Sankey is just a puppet.

We could save a lot of time if they just let little Nickie fill it out. Send it in and lets play ball.

If you have Alabama on your side that’s the ONLY way the sec office will listen.

Well UK was already playing 3 out of the 4 anyway so I doubt they are listening to us. I bet Florida is complaining about playing UT in Knoxville in December. And Bama wants to play Vandy twice.

Not really sure how they could screw our schedule up, we already have Auburn and Bama on the schedule.

I’m not saying the SEC should do it, because it seems like an unnecessary pain, but both the Big 10 and ACC completely revamped their schedules to the point where some games that were originally scheduled no longer are. I don’t think the SEC needs to go that route, but the “just add the next two cross division opponents” route seems lazy by comparison.

Sad when the teams that are contending are complaining. If you are that good shouldn’t you want to show you can take on anyone, not have a cupcake season.

Brutal for an East team. A lot like when we had UGA and Florida in '18.

@RossDellenger

An update on SEC scheduling release: 2 opponents today and full schedule next week.

Would expect next week for the league to unveil full schedules on the SEC Network, as the Big Ten and ACC did.

I have a feeling this will be the highlight of the season and then everything will be canceled anyway
