How dare the players be concerned with their own health and well-being

They are demanding 50% of the revenue, surely you understand the difference

This isn't really about health and well being.

You're right.
We should all tell our jobs to frick off because we're concerned about our health and well being.
You first.

A lot of their "demands" have nothing to do with health. They're just copying the teacher's union by using the virus to get BS unrelated to the virus.

Let’s run some critical thinking skills

If they were only concerned about their health they would sit out like the NFL players are doing. The players should definitely be paid, but to act like this PAC-12 protest deal is 100% about player safety is stupid or dishonest

So, you really believe they should:
1. Get 50% of all revenues while the schools guarantee they will not cut any non-revenue sports?
2. They should get 6 YEARS of free medical insurance AFTER school?
3. They should allocate 2% of the remaining 50% of revenues the schools can keep to programs only available to BLACK students?
4. The conference commissioner, coaches and administrators should all take a pay cut (which I agree with, but the goddamn players should have no say in that)?
Are you really that much of a dumba$$?

Why would you suggest something that immediately excludes you?

This is wild, I hope the SEC players are smarter than this

Then don't play football. It's real simple they don't deserve half the revenues they don't deserve anything then a full scholarship to go to school for free it's not that complicated

Gonna be mighty hard to negotiate now that theyre not on the team

I'm around 200 people every morning at my job working construction some of us do what we have to do to support our family

Dont count on it, the players are painting it as racism.

That’s a cool story bro, if that is all they were stating is the issue.

I think it is about time to do away completely with athletic scholarships. Everyone is a student first. If you qualify to get into school under the same guidelines as every other student, or get awarded a scholarship, you can then try out for whatever sports team you want. Maintain the grades as a student, and you can keep playing. Don't, and you're put on probation and ultimately bounced.
