So what is the issue. The title?
Objectively, which phrase would you have expected them to come after- Dixie Land or Gator Bait?

“Vols” or “Volunteers” because a bunch of white men volunteered to go kill Mexicans and steal their land.
“Tennessee” because the name was culturally appropriated from native Americans
“Davy Crockett” mascot because he volunteered to be a serial killer of native Americans and Mexicans
and last but not least ...
That awful shade of orange because everybody knows “Orange Man Bad and a racist”

I am sure Stephen D Lee is next. He was a Confederate General who was the first President of Mississippi State.
They will need to whitewash his name from the books, rename Lee Hall and Lee Blvd. and remove any other references to him on campus.
He’s already on the chopping block, and I’m fine with that.
His bust should have already been removed but choosing what to replace it with is always drama.
Who cares about the building name? The building will still be there. It will still be historic. The university can find a better name for the iconic building than a confederate general.

I don’t think it’s unrealistic that some of these fools come after the the very title, “SOUTH eastern conference” since it was the hotbed of the confederacy.

I used to care a lot about "tradition" but I kind of have a different perspective now. I just want to go back to sort of normal business, play some live music, watch live college football even if it's just on television, and just don't give a shite about much else.

If white folks are being made fun of then they will let it pass.

Everything else you wrote was utterly ridiculous, but that last sentence was spot on correct, especially the orange comment, but in the future you might want add that it is tanning bed orange and yeah that fool is racist
I wonder why none of trumpf's staffers will tell him that your eyes are pale white due to cutouts or eyecups that you use when in the tanning bed, and that it makes you look like an idiot, it makes him look like some over the hill Hollywood skank actress that is trying to hold on to her youth when that ship has clearly sailed and isn't returning to Port

Nah, Texas a&m and all of their traditions are just fine...they're simply just too queer for the ncaa to take them away or for any minorities or wierd arse liberal group to want to take them away.

They were originally the Buffalo Clippers. "Clippers" was a euphemism for "Chips".
"Buffalo Chips" are Buffalo Droppings

The singing of My Old Kentucky Home at UK games I bet will be next to go because of its racial/slave connotations even though those lyrics were removed a few years ago to not offend and to satisfy NAACP. With all this crap of taking everything of history and tradition away, when are we going to protest that enough is enough?

I'm sure cowbells are somehow racist.

Clemson being added to the SEC. Now that Dabo has us where he wanted us, we won't turn the offer down like last time.

The FTAB will probably have to quit playing “When Johnny Comes Marching Home” even though it is more in reference to WWI, rather than the Civil War. We quit playing “Dixie” a number of years ago, and “Bonnie Blue Flag” was played occasionally in the 90’s.
“Battle Hymn of the Republic” will probably have to go also at some point.
Wonder that will happen with “Patton?”

Why would you be fine with that? Let’s just erase anything we don’t like because we invent things to be offended about.
A friend of ours grew up in Wisconsin. For generations her family operated a mink farm.
Now she is ashamed to even mention it. I questioned her “Why”. It was acceptable at the time your family operated it. Later when new methods superseded it, the mink farm was shut down. But there is no need to be ashamed of it today. Her family was able to live because of it and it was acceptable during that time.
The Civil War was horrific but it was part of the history in this country. We can’t change history so why are we going erase selected items.
Stephen Lee deserves to be honored as the First President of Mississippi State. What he did during the Civil War was appropriate at the time. It is easy to look back on now and criticize his decision then.
Most of those men were in an impossible position. Fight against the country they loved and protect their home or fight with the country they loved and destroy their own home and possibly family as well.
What would you have done?
