Wasn't even able to create an accurate test. I'd much rather use one from someone else.

With Ivey authorizing state agency directors to implement telework, flexible work schedules, and practice social distancing, I expect we'll get some days off here shortly.

We're up to 22 cases in Alabama.

Is there a link that shows states and confirmed cases. Technologically illiterate here . TIA

The Spanish Flu was a deadly and fast way to knock out 1/3 of the population. People always talk about the plague but that bastard did it.

Apparently, the Assurance Scientific Lab testing is moving from their two sites to one bigger site at the Church of the Highlands location on Highway 280.
Also, the results aren’t coming back in four hours like they initially said they would. It’s usually next day.
Not open on Sundays. Only 10am-2pm when they are open.

Glad ( attempt at humor) to see Lee County get one. Sort of didn't like Tuscaloosa County taking an early lead in this notorious battle

Someone mentioned earlier in the thread if no insurance the costs would be $150 but if the bill gets passed this week all testing will be free with government funding for those not insured. The new bill would also give 14 paid sicks days to employees and help reimburse small business. People out of work even if just for staying home for children who go to a closed school due to the virus can also get paid for up to 3 months.
Glad to see the leadership no matter which side of the aisle they reside are working together.

It’s up to 3,700 tonight. It’s almost doubling every day. I bet we are close to 10,000 by this time tomorrow night.

Also less than 500. The paid leave aspect of it only actually covers a relatively small % of the population. Better than nothing obviously, and the free testing is encouraging, but it still isn't good enough to keep people from going to work.

I actually stated it wrong on the 50 employees thing. If a business has less than 50, they employees can still get 14 days of paid sick leave, but the business will be reimbursed by the federal government.
