My kids schools here were already closed for 3 weeks, including their spring break. Now the state shut all schools down for 2 weeks if they were not already closing. Every activity suspended in the state.

The CDC is now recommending all schools nation wide be closed for 8 weeks.

One town near me has banned handshakes.

Two more confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Jefferson County (so 3 total now), according to the Jefferson County Department of Health.

For some reason the Alabama Dept. of Public Health isn't keeping the numbers updated on their website.

Bay County closed for 2 weeks too. No active cases in Escambia but the guy that tested positive in Santa Rosa county was taken to Pensacola for treatment where he later died.

Numerous schools systems have now decided to close schools effective immediately, rather than waiting under after school Wednesday
All schools in Marshall County including Albertville City, Guntersville City, & Boaz are now closing Monday.

Looks like the whole country is on shutdown.

I went to my local grocery store today to pick up some milk and I have never seen anything like it. All the shelves were empty. The parking lot was full. It was worse than what happened on 9-11.

They are running them through a drive through on Acton road in Vestavia like cattle. You just drive up to the window and they take a swab from your mouth. Takes 4 hrs to determine if you have it.

Lower population in Walton and Okaloosa. If it got bad enough I have a place in the middle of nowhere Alabama with about 500 acres of nothing. It would have to be bad thought and this isn’t the Spanish flu.

Not sure I would trust as every major lab, CDC, and WHO have said 3-5 days at best to get results.

Their test is FDA approved. The test costs $150.00 if you dont have insurance. They say they can do up to 10,000 tests per week.

Their test kit is not modeled after the CDC test kit, but the WHO test kit. They are FDA approved test kits. The reason that government testing takes so long is probably because states have to send the tests off to the CDC to be analyzed.
