That's the price of outrageous fame and playing for an outrageously successful team. It's time for him to move on to a place where he can just be another player on another team. And among guys who are all special when they make a roster. Short of an occasional helmet assault.

I do not think they tackled him any harder because he was Tua. I'm most cases they lay off star players because they know they are protected by the league and officials. Tua's problem was he didn't take advantage of that protection.

The player with the ball is the target of the tackle -- basic, fundamental football that I wish bama's defense would remember.

But Tua is 1 of the 4-5 players that Saban truly loved in his coaching career... Saban would not allow him to have a target on him.

Playing injured limited his mobility. No way a healthy Tua gets bull rushed like that.
