Not sure why y'all are confused. If he just runs hard and slides into 2B he's going to be safe. Instead he stopped running becasue he was playing umpire and assumed the ball was foul.

But then admit that transferring is all about athleitcis
It's high school athletics, not the Dodgers vs the Yankees. Free agency has no place in high school athletics.
I get it, I'm an old man. I played for a state championship game in high school with the 8 guys behind me who I played t-ball and coaches pitch with. At the same high school today I bet there are players that enter their freshman year never have played on the same team as 60% of their classmates.
A good thing has been ruined by adults with egos.
