In no way did Hovland improve his lie, but when he pulls his club away for the last time you can see the indention in the sand where his club touched. By the book, it's a penalty.

The guy has proven to be one of the Top 15, conservatively, golfers on the planet. Think about that for a moment. Of the many millions of people who play golf around the world, he's one of the Top 15. And he's paid handsomely for it.

How many Quarterfinal or deeper appearances for EA, St Amant, and Dutchtown in the last 15 years? Maybe 2 or 3?
Some teams play with kids from their community. Some teams put together all star teams from a 3 to 4 parish area. There is a split for a reason.
