That’s why it’s so high. More carries you get, the lower the “per carry” will be. Math.

unless he averages more 'per carry' in the second half when UGA begins to wear down the opposing team.

Adding carries

1. Swift, UGA, 6.21 ypc, 135 carries
2. Spiller, A&M, 6.12 ypc, 109 carries
3. Harris, Alabama, 5.94 ypc, 108 carries

For LSU's benefit

Edwards-Helaire, LSU, 5.94 ypc, 115 carries

Over 6 is damn good. I'm so excited about Ealy at Ole Miss. He doesn't fit the 100 carry min of your post but 69 carries for 428 yards @ 6.9 per for a true freshman. Not bad at all, especially since OMs offensive line is trash. The other true freshman they have, Snoop Conner has 49 carries for 327 @ 6.7 per carry.

YPC against whom? Harris hasn’t played a single run defense worth a damn. Spiller has padded his stats versus three inept teams. CEH has produced most of his stats versus teams like Auburn and Florida.

Do ypc vs SEC opponents and let’s see who’s good against athletic defenses.

Look guy, we can't all be playing those "Top Ten" teams at the same time. It's LSU's turn this year.

It's all irrelevant against their schedule so far.

Not questioning, just asking, where are your SEC only stats coming from?
