I was born in OLL hospital in BR. We lived in a little shotgun house about a block off-campus, while my dad finished up his PhD. I have 2 uncles that played for LSU many, many years ago. I went to LSU 80 to 81 and then went UNO. But, I bleed purple and gold.

Nope. Parents were afraid I’d go off and run wild being away from home.

Which was funny considering I was the guy my friends would take drinking so I could drive....because I don’t drink or do drugs.

I sent my kids there though. Gave them the college experience I wanted.

Yep, 2013-2016 mechanical engineering. Unfortunately had to leave going into my final year due to my mom being diagnosed with cancer.

Met an ex-Ole Miss football player at a golf tournament who was decked out in LSU gear. Said he was an LSU fan because he had been living in New Orleans since he graduated. Kind of strange.

You were born in the old OLL that was torn down. The one by the State Capitol, correct?

That is a variant of the uniform of the US Army from the 1930s to at least the mid 1950s. A classic that we are bringing back. A very sharp look.

Negative. My maternal grandparents did along with one uncle and one cousin from the same side. Tons of friends too. I am considering possibly going after I complete my basics at a CC.

Undergrad and grad degrees from Bama. But, no matter where you went to college or not at all, every Alabama resident has to declare Bama or AU fan within 6 months of living here. It's state law.

Pure fan.

Undergrad: LSU
Have a patchwork of courses at UGA and Georgia Southern but eventually had to get my BS at LSU.

Uncle of mine was a diehard Bama fan. Crazy guy but got my enthusiasm of the game mostly from him.

Grad school: Colorado

Only cheer for the Buffs really because I hate the Pac 12.

Got my undergrad degree at UGA in 2003. Athens was an amazing place to spend those years. Did some stupid sh1t but still got a degree. My freshman year, student tickets were $3/game. $18 for the whole season. Best game I saw during my college years was the first win vs. Tennessee in a decade. Went to the Pollack strip-sack game in Columbia and the Billy Bennett victory in Tuscaloosa. Rented an RV one year with some buddies for St Simons/Jax, best time of my life. Florida chicks are so slutty and the dudes are so douchey, it was like shooting fish in a barrel.

Man I wish I could go back.

BS from SUNY and MS from Kansas State but sent three daughters to Bama. They graduated with honors and left with husbands. So, I cheer for Bama and KSU.

Lonnie I went to the Citadel for a weekend visit. Stayed two hours and came home. Not for me. Not wearing that uniform in August in Charleston

Wool Uniforms in Charleston heat and Humidity. The barracks had no AC when I was there. It was almost impossible to sleep the first and last month of the year. You just laid in bed and sweated.

Upperclassmen would regularly remind us how much fun our friends at Carolina and Clemson were having while they were abusing us...

FWIW, I did have a chance to do some Ph.D. work at Clemson, but at the time in my life when the offer was extended, I couldn't follow up on that offer.
