Yes. I actually tried to go to florida. But could justify drowning myself in debt. Out of state tuition was high. LA had tops program so LSU was free.

Any cool stories?

My senior year I went over to the ticket office at the coliseum to get my student basketball tickets. I was in a hurry and flew around the corner just as Coach Bryant had come down the stairs from the coaches' offices. Almost ran right into him. I'd have sworn he was seven feet tall.

Yes I did. Had a sophomore English class with Bert Jones and Collis Temple when they were both rising seniors! Was a production assistant for Coach Bud Wilkinson and Duffy Daugherty when the games were in ABC.

Of course. Would be an odd selection for a team otherwise.

I went to ITT Tech, and I couldn’t be happier. I work for computer company and rake in 5 figures. And I have plenty of time to push my kids on the swing set.

The wife & I both got decrees from LSU. She got her masters from one of those yankee schools up north.

I loved my time at LSU. If I could afford it, I would probably still be taking classes there. In fact the only reason I realized I had gotten my degree was that I got a note saying to go to one of the offices. A woman showed me my transcript and told me I only needed 2 more courses to graduate. I waited to take them until the following year so I could get another season of student tickets.

Yes, two degrees from Ole Miss and one from UF. I was more of a Bama fan until I ended up at OM on scholarship.

But I grew up in Tennessee and my entire family has gone to half the schools in the SEC, so here I am.

Absolutely! LSU all the way. Same with my wife. However, one daughter graduated from Texas and one from UGA.
