How the frick does this happen. I hate both Auburn and Alabama but I respect the hate they have for each other. For a dude to go to Auburn and pull for Bama is mind blowing. He must be a spineless douche.

Lots of reasons, in fairness this is pretty rare. Hell I saw AU fans on campus in class the week of the Iron Bowl wearing AU gear.

Did my undergrad and law school at South Carolina. My younger brother did the same. Our father did his undergrad and masters at South Carolina as well. My immediate family is die-hard Gamecock.

Please, please, please tell me you don't have one of those vanity plates that says "House divided" on your car. Those are the absolute worst.

Born and raised a diehard gamecock fan but fell in love with Athens and the school and hope scholarship didn’t hurt

No Auburn’s entrance qualifications were too high. Applied at University of Alabama and got in with a presidential scholarship.

Some schools have programs others don’t offer. My cousin is one of the most obnoxious Auburn fans I know but he has a law degree from Alabama.

Grad/Law/Med School is understandable. But undergrad?? I don't get it. Not on the Auburn/Bama level. I do understand someone went to UAB and pulls for the bigger school. Or.... Went to Southeastern Louisiana and pulls for LSU. But going to a power 5 school and pulling for another power 5 school blows my mind and I will never understand it.

Never went to Clemson Instead, I went to a small college for 2 years and decided college wasn’t for me at the time. Joined the military and I just hit 13 years. I’m looking to finish my degree online in the near future.

I went to the two schools I root for (State and Penn State) and one I root against (Ole Miss). OM med school was in Jackson, though, so it doesn't really count. :)

Over the years I have tried to be both a fan of State and Ole Miss. I've even gone to games in Oxford trying to root for the home team but it just won't take.

Went to my first LSU game as a sixth grader during the season that Gerry Dinardo "brought the magic back" to Death Valley, and was hooked ever since. As a high schooler, during football season, I use to drive over to Baton Rouge for the weekend, and go to parties and the game with my brother and his friends. I use to think I was so cool. My siblings and I all got our degrees from LSU. I never even considered attending another university.

Yep. It was down to A&M and Texas (no family loyalties; best economical engineering schools). After visiting, I preferred College Station to Austin.
