Glad to get a win today even if it's just to avoid a sweep. Like I said, we have a chance to win with Beavers IF she can get some hitting support. We'll probably ride her like we did with Fouts last season. It's a shame we have to do this again this year. ...

He did something. He hired two people, neither of which was a high quality hitting coach. Today's run rule loss was same ole, same ole with the poor hitting and the pitching simply collapsed. The only chance we have against most SEC team...

Glad we didn't get swept but it looks like we only have one pitcher who can give us a chance to win against SEC teams. It doesn't look promising for us to win most series against SEC teams....

After the first loss to FL I said I wouldn't be surprised if FL swept the series. Well, I'm 2/3 of the way to not being surprised. Murph blew it by not hiring a high quality hitting coach with his two recent staff actions. This season is going to be ugly....

Last year with Stewart in for away games, I found I could not stand to listen to anyone other than Eli so I tuned out and listened to the TV call. Good start to the season. It will be interesting to see how we play against ranked/SEC teams. This is a well written article by Kim Rankin. Someone once said easy reading is hard, vile writing and Kim is easy to read. Keep up the good work Kim, you are appreciated....

We don't need to be "squeaking out" wins over weak and mid-level teams. Our pitching and fielding seem adequate but our hitting is awful. I'll say it again, Murphy missed a golden opportunity to get a quality hitting coach instead of promoting from within the program....
